Feels like watching a 1990’s old school romance novel.
I really enjoyed this drama for the “old school romance” feel which is completely taboo in today’s society. I want to compliment the director and writers for creating a story that has an old school feel but able to not cross the line and pass Chinese censorship laws.Both ML and FL had so much chemistry together. At times the FL seems weak but she waits and then fights or crawls back out of her bad situation. she doesn’t pin and wait for the ML to return. She ends the relationship when she doesn’t need his money to pay for her studies. She tries to move on and finds another marriage partner. She doesn’t use her previous relationship to try and gain favours.
