I guess we read different fandom pages.
Ming and Kit were for sure more popular, but that's in part due to their story. It's more interesting. Their acting was better than Pha/Yo's as well, but few people were put off by the chemistry. I think opinions changed when rumours about Godt's withdrawal surfaced.
Never a big fan of that storyline anyway: I will see how Ming/Kit plays out as it's the best in the Novels as well.

Really? I've just been rewatching season 1. The acting isn't perfect but it fitted together better. Kit was a great actor.
The chemistry between Wayo and Pha was better. But then it was spread out over many episodes so the teenager inside me loved it. And loved the innocence.
So far I'm not impressed. Inevitably I'm comparing to Season 1.
Pros: This version of Bean seems a bit more savvy.
Cons: The acting is weak from Pha and Kit is weak. Pha in this is not attractive enough: it makes the over reaction everytime he walks into the room comedic and cringe-worthy.
I will continue to watch for now, I hope it get better quickly.
Forth isn't big enough. He's meant to be all muscles. Beam and Phana aren't handsome enough. They are meant to be stunning. Beam is bigger than last time but now not hot.
Kit is too agreeable frail.
Ming is an improvement on last time.
Wayo is much as a muchness.
The physics dude isn't big enough: he looks too much like Wayo.
Pretty sure we have to wait for GMMtv. Lazy subber said she’s not doing it specifically because GMMtv releases…
Yeah... They know they're getting huge inter audiences. Their ability to advertise goes up massively. They've been selling BLs to netflixs too. Tjey aren't losing by catering to inter audiences.
In my mind Pha isn't meant to be tolerable: he's meant to be an arrogant pr*ck. Godt played that more convincingly that Ben does in my mind.
Old Wayo was more feisty too: I think Bas nailed awkward grumpy teenager!
But I really loved old Kit: I think his acting was sublime. He played tsundere really well. I'm interested to see how mew Kit handles this.

Most of these guys aren't what I picture in my mind.
I'll still watch episode 1 so see, but I'm not expecting much tbh.
I think it's pretty standard for readers to have a different take on characters to the author.

I think its just queerbaiting / BLbaiting.
