what are you watching currently then? Actually I started with LSIT1970s for Chen Feiyu, watched 1st ep, liked it but the genre is not my cup of tea so I put it on hold. How's it going so far?? Well for your first question, yes. But it doesn't affect the drama much. Please don't skip the entire drama for just that reason. To your 2nd question, They actually get together around 22 or 23 I forgot the exact episode. To your 3rd question, they are together since 1st ep that only kiss wouldn't be there until they get together. Except that you can see them cuddling all the time. To your 4th question, yes since the first ep 20 or so minutes, they will start becoming cuddly and loving.
In my opinion, don't skip the drama. The thing you're worrying is a part of ML's character build. He's like the present because he went through things in the past. So, just watch it and sympathize with him.

I've completed Unveil Jadewind. if you love mystery and crime dramas you'll like it. I'd recommend you to watch it but the leads have really slow burn but a smooth relationship until they get together lol

It is not her voice is the issue. It's is because the voices are recorded on spot. As far as I can hear, it is not dubbed later as usually done by productions rather it was recorded by what they acted on the set. That's why the voices of everyone and everything looked a bit hollow. Nothing is wrong with her voice. Her voice acting has always been the best, if you want proof, you can watch Moonlight Mystique, Till the end of the moon, etc.. They all were her voices the only differences is they were dubbed after the filming ended. Maybe, this is her first drama with that on spot recording which is why it sounds blant.
