Before I start this, is the FL mature? Do they have mature conversations? I’m fairly traumatized by the FL in “my boss” that I can not watch a FL like that again.

I hope it’s not like “my boss “type of romance and FL? That FL traumatized me lol now i’m only looking a “mature” conversation dramas. 😅

An absolute amazing drama. I just came back from a few years break of watching dramas. This is the 5th drama after my break. This is superb acting and script. Very different from typical Cdramas and Kdramas. The script is so mature and the ML is so realistic not skinny full of makeup that he looks like he’s a teenager. Not sure why everyone complained about FL as she’s probably one of the best female actress I’ve seen lately in a drama. Her reactions is so realistic with the jealousy and ugly crying (tell me which woman haven’t done that)?
I would have given this 10/10 if they focus more on romance then the office work stuff.
I almost dropped it 3 times as i couldn’t get through the first 5 episodes but people on Reddit said to give it until 5 episodes then drop. They were right, by the end of episode 5, I was hooked. First time not fast forwarding and was really drawn to the whole dialogue and the conversations. Very solid acting. Dang the ML (never seen him before) but he is such a good actor and is hot AF! I need to get onto another drama of his. That smile… i don’t care how boring a drama is, I’ll watch it for his smile. 😃

I’m totally waiting for his new one. I think he’s a good actor, it’s honestly a waste how he gets paired up with these FL. I’m used to bad acting from watching so many dramas but this FL blew my mind, like how on earth does she get so many lead roles? If you look at her profile, she has so many coming.

The plot is actually good, and some of their conversations towards the end are very meaningful but her acting vs what she’s trying to portray doesn’t add up. Lol it totally ruined it for me how she runs (not even like a normal person) every-time ML tries to get close or is having a serious conversation
with her. It got to the point where it seems like she’s just using him (which i don’t think FL is intended to play out that way) her acting is just atrocious. Makes me wonder if they lack female actresses . She also ruined another drama cause she was acting exactly the same way.

Smart as after they got together FL got more annoying and the kids scenes are uncomfortable to watch as again she’s 10 years old.

She’s like that in another drama as well which I dropped. I don’t think they wrote her like that, she just can’t act out the cute scenes without being childish. She needs some mentoring from Bai Lu as she can easily saved this drama.

I agree! It’s my first drama after a couple years break so when I saw it, I thought oh that’s just how it is now. Then I watched other ones, she’s just can’t act. The kissing scenes, she’s a grown woman, she acts like she’s 10.

She needs to work on her acting skills. Makes me so irritated as I think this would have been good.

I really like CXX but so sad for him with such a terrible FL in this drama. It would have been so solid if she can act. I dropped another she’s in as she does the exact same expressions that it feels like i’m watching the same drama. Sorry but that stupid look (that is suppose to be cute) is so cringe and the voice. Argggg lol

This is my first C drama after a couple years break and it’s light rom com. It has so much potential as I really like the ML but the FL is so cringe. The reviews are true, she acts like she’s 10 and for a drama that intimacy is everything, they pick a FL that can’t do an intimate scene without acting like she’s 10 years old. Like come on, kissing scenes isn’t everything but at least be natural. After watching a couple more rom com, I realized if they pick a better actress, this would have been my favorite rom com of 2024. ML was good even though he didn’t have a good FL to work with. I have a lot of patience for bad acting as I’ve seen many dramas all my life but the FL is bad to a whole new level. It actually made me cringe (which i don’t cringe easily) reviews are also true on how she just completely backed off since they got together. I think it’s just bad acting as she’s supposed to love him but she’s so stiff that i can’t read her emotions. So disappointed on choice of FL.

ML character is the most well written in ALL of the dramas I’ve seen. He’s so kind, mature and not arrogant that I kept expecting that to switch at some point but his character just keeps getting better. No red flags whatsoever, truly enjoyed this drama.

this is actually a breath of air, I can not how well the ML is written. I’m so used to arrogant and mean that I kept thinking he’s gonna flip that switch any minute but he’s actually “normal” lol
I really like their chemistry and their conversations.
I’m curious too, what type of Romcom do you like?

ok so I was watching this a few years ago and it got removed. I came across it again today! the ML is such a good actor and good looking! it’s so unfortunate the whole ban thing as I have yet to see a young actor that has the looks and have that level of acting skills. I heard he’s planning to go back on screen, i can’t wait! I’m so glad I stumble upon it again with proper subtitles.

Right?! I just read the reviews saying they have no chemistry? I was thinking I’m watching a different show as the two leads have exceptional chemistry. I mean they don’t have to make out every five minute for it to be considered chemistry. It’s the way he looks at her, and how they interact with each other. Male lead is a very good actor.
