No offense, but I really hope its not Miles Wei I just dont see him fitting in this drama. Lin Yi and Wang Anyu are good options but im kinda leaning towards Wang Anyu. ill be fine with either though. I 100% see Tian Xiwei in this though

True, they willingly took on the role knowing it revolved around intimacy and romance, so Liu Haocun must've been aware that she would face some sort of backlash. Or at least her team and entertainment would be aware of it.

YES completely agree, it was a waste of the leads potential. I think thats why LHC tends to star in mystery/thriller dramas compared to romance

I think you missed the point of my comment, I said I was disappointed in the casting director for not choosing an actress who does kiss scenes as it was a big part of the novel. Trust me im grateful they even added censored kiss scenes instead of removing them completely. But I think u entirely missed the point of what im saying, as I didn't even mention that.

No offense to Liu Haocun shes and amazing actress, loved her in just for meeting you. But couldn't they have casted somebody who does kiss scenes? The novel features a lot, the title is literally, "Be Passionately in Love" There is a lot of other actresses who could have done this role good like, lu yuxiao, zhao jinmai, zhou ye, xu menjie, xu ruohan, or if we could even get him with Julia Xiang again since their chemistery was so good in forever love. Zhou ye's character in ELM is pretty similar to Xu zhi so i feel like she couldve done well too. Dont get me wrong i love LHC but im disappointed that they couldn't cast an actress who does kiss scenes. I feel like Lu Yuxiao and Julia Xiang could have played these roles really well. Im not hating on the actors at all, the only person Im disappointed in is the casting director, because not only would the outcome of the drama be better LHC wouldn't face controversy for this. The only person people should be disappointed in is the casting director, I dont think we should hate on the actors themselves

Right, especially because the novel featured a lot, I was hoping that we'd actually get at least one in this drama. No offense to Liu Haocun since she is a great actress but I'm slightly disappointed that they didn't choose a actress that does kiss scenes to match the novel and title.

In the wrap-up trailer near the end they show a kiss scene, which means there will be kiss scenes in the drama. There was also another trailer displaying another kiss scene. Why do people hate on the actors for playing roles they were casted to portray?

Woah the ratings dropped so slow when the drama first came out it had a 8.5 then i saw it drop to 8.2 then 8.1 now 7.4 not sure whether i should watch it or not
