Honestly this is such a solid show from the beginning to the end if this type of genre is what youre looking for.
I‘ve seen people say its too sexualized but queer shows deserve to have the same variety in media as straight shows. I want puppy love queer shows and absolutely messy queer shows. And this is exactly that. Had me screaming at my screen from the beginning to the end. Not one dull moment.

Well yes I think thats what some of us that replied to the op tried to say.
They do the „normal“ relationship things but it feels like bromance whereas others who do less of that feel more like romance than them.

I completely understand what you’re trying to say. But I think what most people are referring to when they say it feels like bromance is what you already said: the chemistry.
There are plenty of bls with one kiss or no kiss at all and no one would say it’s bromance because the actors just sell it as romance. A few that come to mind as I‘m typing this are cherry magic, keita hatsukoi and kamisama no ekohiiki.
And also I‘m immediately turned off from the romance in movies/shows when one of the actors looks uncomfortable which is the case here.

Enchante maybe? While the plot is not exactly the way you described it that kinda came to mind.

I just finished episode 4 and honestly I‘m not feeling it.
The writing just isnt the best which the actors usually make up for with chemistry and that just isnt the case here.
But the part I just cant get over is how kang bullied, harassed, beat up, humiliated and sexually harassed sailom and his friends in the first two episodes for that to basically become irrelevant right after.
He deserves some juvi time not compassion about his father being too nice to him.

This show is lacking in a few aspects but they hit the jackpot with aidis actors.
I really really love all his scenes (with chenyi). He portrays all those emotions, I dont even have the vocabulary for rn, so well that my heart aches every time I see him painfully trying to reject chenyi.

I‘m having so much fun while watching this because its just so entertaining. Every week I‘m just dramatically talking to myself commenting every dumb decision they make.
I‘m lowkey sad that there are only 2 episodes left.

Sameee. I usually hate the miscommunication trope and will even drop a show because of that but it just worked here.

This drama was just two horny dudes miscommunicating the very obvious feelings they have for each other.

They actually changed the synopsis the way I submitted it I feel honored lol.
Anyway at least now people who are interested in watching this show wont be spoiled about half the storyline. I still dont get why they spoil so much in the synopsis on mdl.

I find their dynamic really interesting. I cant wait to rewatch the whole show once it all aired to see which hints I‘ve missed because the relationship was in yohs pov in the beginning.
I think what makes this show interesting is that they dont really communicate properly which would usually annoy me but here it plays out well imo. Because they both seem to have such a twisted views of the other in a way.

I know this is based on a book but can we talk about how the synopsis on mdl gives away way too much. I mean we’re already 8 episodes in and the second paragraph hasnt even really happened yet.
Someone should edit it and delete everything after this part in the second paragraph „Just as their love story begins to unfold, Fan Ze Rui's criminal past catches up with him,“

Honestly I wasnt sure about taro lins acting because the whole cold boy persona just doesnt show that much variety imo but episode 8 really proved how good he is. The part where he was crying with fan ze rui in his arms and especially when he was begging to see him. Really broke my heart.

No I agree with you. Boston is clear about what they have going on. My point is its clearly hurting nick. He obviously wants more than a situationship but boston would probably call it quits if he said he wants sth serious so he just suffers in silence.

Nick gotta be a emotional masochist at this point because I have no other explanation as to why he wont break it off with boston. Or the dick is just too good.

Some people act like hate watching doesn’t exist. People can criticize sth and still continue to watch it.
I didnt hate it but this was definitely a hard watch. The only reason I got through it is because it was like a weekly ritual for 2 months and not a binge watch.

Ok so I just finished episode 4 and I love Boston.
He is just a messy person with no redeeming qualities. And I cant even get pissed when I see his slutty ass plotting sth selfish and destructive with no regards to anyones feelings because I know its gonna be fun.
