I constantly think about what wouldâve happened if no one cared to save Vegas or if that guard had shot him in the head. How would Pete recover from this? He realizes just how much he cares about Vegas and how in love he is. His whole world fell apart the moment he saw Vegas collapse before him and that look of absolutely horror on his face when he saw what was happening to the person he loves was terrifying. Of course he had to deal with the loss of friends and coworkers in the past since this is a dangerous job and you canât really avoid death but thatâs different from having the person that means the absolute world to you die in your arms. Pete wouldâve done everything to protect Vegas. I think what they have and what they feel for each other is honestly a once in a lifetime kind of thing for them (especially for Vegas). The amount of affection they have for each other isnât easy to replace and even tho Pete has been through a lot, the loss of his ââloverââ wouldâve absolutely destroyed him and make him even more miserable than he already is.
I wouldnât mind someone else being interested in Pete and flirting with him so we can see possessive and jealous Vegas. Like I want him to go crazy thinking Pete might be interested in that person as well. I donât like the whole ââi will make you jealous by playing aroundââ thing but go off Pete. Go make him lose his mind
