It completely wins ! And Jo Jung Suk is fascinating in K2H, so talented. As City Hunter is like a classic of the "revenge drama" , King2Heart is something else entirely ^^ And well, I'm a fan of Ha Ji Won so....^^

I know what you mean. BBF was actally my fist K-drama so I have kind of nostalgical feeling to it. I don't know exactly how I would have appreciate it if I would have seen it after a few other dramas^^.
Which drama are you talkig about ? City Hunter or Time Between Dog and Wolf. Both are on my top 5 (well, I think I'm gonna put City Hunter down to give the spot to King2Hearts lol) but from what I remember of TBD&W...The acting of Lee Jun Ki is stunning and the main antagonist is...a REAL person ! Not a crazy psyco, not an evil fool, but a real character, with an opinion, and depth that really keep us thinking and a real relationship between him and the hero is created so that this story doesn't stay just black and white. So the title is well chosen and this drama is highly reccommendable^^
Hope you'll like it !

Bad directing in Faith, 1 Example: in episode 18, there is a scene where Eun Soo talk to Choe Yeong while being behind him, and there is a moment of silence : normally the scene should have been cut after like 3 seconds of that silence but instead it last for as least 20 seconds and you can actually feel the actors waiting for the "cut", and LMH is desperately trying to keep the scene alive by doing things with his eyes but it's not working at all lol!!!
I agree that Meteor Garden is the best version of the 3 HYD. The acting is better, and it's follow the manga script very well for the 1st season. Every T-drama I watch makes me wanna rewatch MG lol ! The second season is exceptionnal : out of the 3 versions, they are the only one who actually did something deep and clever with the amnesia twist.

completely. I think of dramas like Personnal Taste, when you get the impression the writers are just dolling with top models, trying to make a story out of it...I really liked Lee Min ho in City Hunter, BBF and Faith, but this kind of dramas I really can't stand. I would normally hate BBF too, but I was a fan of the manga when I was a little girl ^^
What do you think of Time Between Dog and Wolf ?

Hey , I 've seen on someone else's profile you are sick of glossy shinny Korean dramas/acting. I really know what you mean. Even though Lee Min Ho is my weak point (nobody's perfect...XD), I recommend you a drama from your watch list : Soredemo, Ikite Yuku. No fan-servicy ending ; Great acting ; Normal-real people as heroes ; Deep Story ; Strong Dialogs/Situation ; 6 Awards for : Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor and Actress, Best Drama, Best Screenwriter, and Best Directing. I really didn't know Eita had it in him! It's my N°1 Drama now.

I recommend Soredemo, Ikite Yuku, if you are looking for really, really REALLY good acting in J-drama. This drama is my favorite. BTW, I see you've completed Black&White;. I've been considering watching it for a while, how is it ?

I understand what you mean ! I'm living in france, so Crunchyroll, Viki(for K-dramas), Hulo, and Dramafever are all out of the question !!! Have to find other ways...I use DC, (used to use Mysoju), MyKimchidrama, and recently Gooddrama.

Actually, I've only seen two episodes. I wanted to try it because of the actors and because it is said to have the better suspense ever for a drama.
I won't give Faith a 10 either, there are too flaws to it. Even thought it has 3 great actors and Lee Min Ho, as well as a potentially awesome story, I feel that drama is wasted by some bad actors, unnessesary clichés and really bad directing.

no, that's the first time I see her. But I'm still a big fan of Faith (completely addicted to it! Even though it doesn't deserve a 10)

No, I don't speek all those languages, only Japanese and I can understand basic Korean and Chinese expression, but what I meant was that I'm now used to those languages. I sometime don't use subs for Jdramas but I need them absolutely for K and T dramas.^^

Yes I know what you mean about Lee Min Ho. To me he is a good actor because he is sincere in all his parts. In faith he is doing a very good job! One actor that really know how to change is Oguri Shun. And also Eita. They both have this ability^^

Actually that thing you are talking about is perfectly normal, and has nothing to do with having a good eye for bad acting or not. Actually, your brain is not yet used to the foreigner language, and since it's the brain that interpretes the emotions based on what the sensor perceves (eyes, ears, etc.), it first need to adapt before to the new way of potraying emotion through the different language. Your brain will do it on his own, and after a while you'll see that you can see the difference of intonations and everything. I had to go though this process too when I learned english, and again with japanse, korean and chinese ^^.My favorite K-actors are for now : Lee Min Ho, Gong Yoo, and Lee Jun Ki. You can use those are reference for good acting^^
