that ending felt like cheating to get an ending that won’t have the audience picking up pitchforks 🤦🏻‍♀️ after 61 eps, I feel let down. I enjoyed the drama for the most part but it did drag at some points which is not surprising with 61 eps (59 really). I enjoyed OTP’s chem until towards the end of mortal realm life. I understand FL has been through a lot but the way she closed out ML for most of the latter eps was hard to watch because ML has also suffered in so many ways. I also felt like there were so many close to death events or moments where a character had to lose some of their power, YET everyone felt the same level of powerful.

I thought being turned to stone would end her, but I got a second unpleasant surprise 😂She is gone fr now. If the director was to bring her back again, forget his wife, all the audience members would come after him 🔪 😝

yikes. when she had so much power as a mortal, I was ready to ffwd every scene she was in. the haughty look of hers 🤮

I’m glad they at least dropped it unlike Reading Class. omg what a loss that will be if it truly never airs. I’m still holding out hope 🙏🏼 But, yes, I can believe this one was highly rated. I still think of these two and what could have been 😭 😭

definitely sticking with it - it is really good. I’m in ep 27. I came believe that 🐍____ is back 🤦🏻‍♀️From your post before, I have 20 eps of this lifetime left. so much time for more things to go wrong. I’m sure there will be more heartbreak before any healing happens 😢

It’s fairly mild and FL is strong so she doesn’t crumble and ML starts liking her more despite his misunderstanding highlighting just how head over heels he is

I’m still thinking about this drama, especially after seeing SZE & RJL all chatty at award show 😭Was it just me or did this drama come through silently? I feel like there wasn’t much buzz and I only found it from looking for SZE’s work. anyways. if you’re on the fence, watch it! I’m still thinking about OTP’s wonderful journey and their love for each other 😭 and that ending 🥺The plot was a nice change from the other dramas this year. There was something very warm about it. SZE really played her character well and showed how a little girl had to suddenly be courageous and grow to save the one(s) she love 😍

there was no compromise and magical last minute plot device that changed the factors playing into ML’s decision. He had to go back to the demon land to take care of it alongside his brother and he cant return for another 12 years because the device he used to come back on his own broke. he realistically parted with his loved one for the greater good which is very in line with his character. FL was very in line with her character - she loves him deeply but also loves her parents and wouldnt leave them. it made sense for her to not go into the demon world just for his sake. i usually dont like these tragic endings, but i just loved their journey and growth, as well as all the friendships and the mini plots all lending a hand to develop the larger plot.

😂 I realized I was raging for all my comments here. there are def positives. both ML and FL are smart. they work up their trust fairly organically. FL grows in her realization of some risks are worth taking and fighting to make right. ML fought for FL valiantly. their romance was top and they never lost their faith in each other. the family dynamics were interesting and I enjoyed watching FL save everyone with her insight of the “future” even though some ppl didn’t appreciate it 😝

okay. so it picks up with other aspects of the plot at 28 although it does fall back on the entire focus being them not getting married around 33 or something but at least it’s just the bratty princess and her mom. I do start disliking the emperor a tad, especially when he said the line, “I have a good feel for ppl,” which he uses correctly in that instance because he is talking about ML but then we also know his fave person is the baddest baddie. the way the royal princess never gets that she is selfish and a psychopath is crazy, but I guess realistic. I don’t think narcissists get that they are the problem 🤦🏻‍♀️ but the fact that she actually got an upgraded title and still buried in the royal mausoleum…not to mention the long flashback death. I just can’t. she died too easy. yet one of her follower was punished by being slowly sliced to death? 🙄 literally deducting a point for that because justice just did not feel served.
