FL is an idiot. Idk why the character is written to have no common sense. My thoughts were sealed on episode 18. I feel badly for Jin Jin. She’s absolutely right. What kind of friend is FL? She knew SL initial feels, knew what he said at the press conference and knew Jin Jin’s feelings. ML took his friggin assistant and not some rando, there was no need for her to be so pissed. Ugh. I just can’t even.
Also, Ireine tends to overplay her rolls. She’s too childish which she needs to be especially careful about with her small stature. She already looks like every lead’s sister and she makes it worse with her overacting, whether it be her being happy as if she’s naive and a little looney or her “sad” tantrums.
I finally finished. The OTP has chemistry and I really wanted more sweet moments between them and I think that’s my biggest qualm. I often had to hit forward after episode 10 b/c I was tired of the fact that FL kept pushing the ML away characters. I finally saw a light at the end of the tunnel around episode 16 but that was quickly dimmed and at that point I was forwarding whole 3-4 minute chunks. I finally was able to watch all the way through without ridiculous push-pull games and misunderstandings between OTP after episode 21. This honestly had so much potential to be a 9/10 for me.
Okay...I don't know if I am becoming more impatient as I grow older (at least with dramas), but this has become…
I (kinda) get why FL feels like she needs to keep the story going to reach the original ending but so much has deviated already that I don't get why she still feels like she should set up Chuchu w/ ML. She seriously doesn't have an inkling of a feeling for ML? Even if she thinks it's all in her mind (or w/e she think she is experiencing), wouldn't she want the one protecting her to stay by her side? If she was originally supposed to die, she could technically die if the original start trajectory is reached. I'm just so frustrated watching the constant push away. Already at episode 11...T-T
Okay...I don't know if I am becoming more impatient as I grow older (at least with dramas), but this has become my question with almost every drama....when does this annoying push and pull stop? When does this Pei dude get the message to back away? Ugh.
This was...goodish. The chemistry was there but not enough screen time for OTP to really show it. The gem story started getting old midway through and I started forwarding through much of the plot garbage around I believe episode 23. Worthwhile watch if there’s nothing else fluffy romantic on your list.
It had so much promise! I really enjoyed it at the start and even watched it before all subs were completed. It just went downhill somewhere midway though. I rarely drop dramas but I’m so over the childish push and pull. Ugh.
I’m watching Love by Hypnotic and I keep getting Hyun Bin vibes. I hope he has some non-historical drama lead roles soon. Love his acting (and looks) so far from this one drama.
Super bittersweet. It ends at the end of their high school life with super “. . .” kind of situation.
Depends on whether you like slow-paced, youth stories about friendship. The characters are lovable and their friendships sweet. I ended up skipping through some scenes here and there. Personally, I’m glad I watched it, but I honestly wouldn’t have been missing out on anything if I hadn’t.
OTP had such good chemistry and I’m surprised they never officially got together. I was waiting for a in the future moment and nothing...I was rooting for them so much. I know it says friendship, youth drama but romance is listed as second or third on every website. Okay. I’m finally going to bed after binging this show and imagine OTP met up in the future to have a wonderful life together. T-T
