Initially, did a good job by letting us relive the emotions we felt in Season 1.
However, as it went on, it kept on losing its charm.... Kind of retained it in the end, but it doesn't make up for the time I skipped forward.
In Season 1, I wouldn't even dare to skip a second, I was always so on the edge!
But for this one, the excitement started fading around ep 4 - 5 .......
Overall: Won't rewatch or remember it (very much unlike its first season)

I liked the entire drama but the last two episodes.... My entire connection with the drama literally just fell apart in the end.
Idk what exactly was the problem, but it was not satisfying.
I am the type who usually remembers the drama by its ending, and this just doesn't fit the bill.

I agree, it is slow-paced and I would have probably gave up but it was too beautiful to do so.
The concept was indeed very thought-provoking, and the last quarter is just so incredibly delicate and beautiful.

The dumbest police force I have ever seen in a Jdrama but Takahashi Issei is too good for me to leave this drama :(

I agree with people who say that the show may be lacking in comparison to season 1 but... this season also has its merits. Like the more humorous tone which does not really feel forced. Its also satisfying, as in the revenge they get, is pretty satisfying to watch.

Same!! I can perfectly picture them as an amazing couple! I mean, we have 16 episodes more to go, so it is possible..... (I really wish we see the ship sail <3)

Has anyone found the ending ost, not the Korean version, the one played in this drama?

Not at all draggy! This is one of the best Chinese dramas of this genre. The 40 episodes actually help you connect with every character and make you feel that you are part of their lives, a part of their village.

I see everyone praising the main actress, JDY but not a lot of noise for JKY, the main actor.
He is fabulous :) (I dont mean to sideline the main actress or something, this is the second drama I am watching her acting in, and she is fantastic)

I agree. It deserves much more than a measly 7.9! I am not a big fan of either of the two main actors but the drama and their acting is really very good.

For me, the drama was good. Nothing more, nothing less.
Maybe its because I went into it with some other expectation, but, it is a good one. Worth checking out!
The biggest highlight (again, in my point of view) has to be Im Si Wan! He looks wonderful!

What I think, it was because she still didn't remember their past. Owing to her memory loss. He still felt guilty towards her.

What beautiful chemistry! Been quite sometime that I have seen so much chemistry from the MC! Their eyes are more than enough to convey how much they love each other...
The acting, not only by the mc, but everyone was really good!
I rarely rewatch dramas but maybe, I will be back for their sweet scenes...
Its a drama one should definitely try (not necessary that suits every single person's taste) but definitely worth trying!

I very much agree with you! The most unnatural thing in the world would be them getting together in just an episode. The way they parted and the things they suffered was way too heavy to just make-up in 1 episode! These episodes make the transition of them getting back together naturally and in a mature way.
