The way writers try to get FL involved in everything is cringey af😭 ditching bodyguards sent to bring you to safety, because you wanna have a woman empowerment scene with your hairpin and incense😭

Throughout the drama, his journey has been about who poisoned him and why, him not being there for the revelation ain’t worth it to me

China has some of the most beautiful and Talented actors/actresses of all time, but their writing/story telling skills is bad 😭 don’t just cater to the main characters/ second lead, you see a Emperor, Generals or ministers with high power being played and outsmarted by children who just turned adults because they’re main characters, write something interesting about these people instead of just using them as fillers 🙏 they didn’t get to those positions by being this dumb or unaware, I’m not just talking about this drama tho✌️ I would love to see a well written story, if it takes more than one season it would be even better, or they can adapt foreign novels instead of being limited to Chinese manga/novel

Dropped this after episode 1, because I can already see the direction of how it’ll go, the ML character is gonna be villainized or irresponsible, she then breaks up with him and focus on a feminist/female empowerment path, towards the ending she forgives him 🤧


all female empowerment drama are always at the expense of dumbing down the men 🥲

Writers are so cringe with the over worshipping of the FL, a war won by soldiers and her brother is now thanks to the FL for forming friendship with the foreign princess🥲 and making the ML say it to her, like he wasn’t the one who planned for the 2 of them being friends

😭Heyu brought a fun, mischievous, shameless, commanding and so many more sides to his character, but the portrayal of sadness and helplessness is one of the most memorable part to his character for me 💔 the guy is a good actor🙌

It’s always about that cringe “drive into the Sun romance” one of the main thing I also hated in Wonderland of Love and Fated Hearts, they act like being ambitious to rule is a red flag

They should’ve made him fight minions first, instead of just go to spar with his brother, and also needed the FL help to land a hit on him

He’s still my favorite character but his arro earlier excellence with sword has become average🤷

😭I don’t know what to say to you, it’s your preference, but to me he’s the best character on the show
