This drama cant afford to do that the supporting characters are not that great. A Drama like The Double thrived even if there were very less scenes of ML and FL together bcz sml and sfl were insane.

I like Xueji more than He Zhen all other side girls. Xueji on the outside seems very weak bt she has made strong moves to became enpress. I exoected better from He Zhen character bt atp I fast forward her scenes

romance dramas in general are told from a woman's Pov. This is like a security for a woman thats why you see multiple men chasing a woman in dramas

Last thing I see this drama more than just ML and FL being together. They are showing their personal growth as well so you may see up and downs before they end up together. Thats normal

Let them rate less. MDL rating is done by few thousands people at best. Not a real measure

Expectations sud be set before started watching then. You cant expect normal writing from these dramas
