According to melon, CHJ included in Tencent's announcement for their conference on 19th. I think filming will start around 12/13th.

The drama rumours posted can either be in contact, the artists intent to pursue the role, trying to hype the drama or trying to poach from other actors. That's why you should believe when they already started filming. Otherwise all these are bluffing. Marketing is king nowadays so these are part of marketing strategy of the artist to hype the existence.

There's no rumor actually. His name was mistakenly picked up from a discussion in forum, Then marketing account maliciously spread it as if these 2 were the casting. Xu Kai is famous for one of few young actors who didn't go to film BL drama. In China, it is wide-spread that BL gather large fandom so those who go to film BL are actually aiming for stardom. So they spread this to taint his name. By the way, this was rumoured since 2021 and nothing move since. It was brought back due to heat that BL might do comeback in Cdrama.
