But he's the one who signed off the projects Xu Kai took. He negotiated terms with productions using Xu Kai's name but not in favor of Xu Kai. I think Xu Kai did received offer of good quality scripts, but due to Yu Zheng's excessive and unreasonable demands, these productions might shy away from taking Xu Kai.

But Tencent got 4 S/S+ dramas airing at the same time due to they got TV slot (Youth Memories, Prosecution Elite, Here We Meet Again and A Date with the Future) so they could not afford to put another S level drama is same slot. That's why SEL go on air later after Youth Memories, Prosecution Elite, Here We Meet Again finished.
