Personally, I felt that the last few min of ep 12, which showed us her inner turmoil, proves nothing and does nothing to the emotional damage her character caused upon viewers (great actress btw). To me, it appeared like a damage control, so people wouldn't hate her cuz some netizens are pretty harsh on the actual actors.

Today's ep (10), Do Il's mom was smirking weirdly at the confrontation between the mayor(? dont rember his name, and idc) and In Kyung. Also, the guy beside In Kyung; so far he hasn't done anything. But I don't think a character who stands this close to FL will not have no big role.
