I wish Hong Kong martial arts stars/directors would choreograph the fight scenes of these Mainland Jin Yong adaptations. Imagine this drama but with Donnie Yen's creative Sakra fight choreography instead of the repetitive, rigid movements seen here.

Is it just me or is GJ's romance just tasteless.. He shows no emotion at all... Sure he's a loyal guy but bro…
Unfortunately this is how his character is written in the novel. Bro is dumb and as romantic as a plank of wood.
