FL is now more annoying to me than the SFL. She's at least fighting (a losing battle) for the ML. Yes I don't like her antics, but for her it's all or nothing. She's controlled by family, hurt by her 1st love (although I don't think she knows the depths her family went to with that) and she realized money can't buy love, literally! Everything she's doing, fighting tooth and nail, I want to see the FL do for the ML. Not this, what looks like a set-up. I get that she's F'd up over what happened to her brother because of her father, I have to give her that, that's no small issue. Even in the teaser the ML and SML are pining over her. She's the only one sabotaging and not fighting for the interest of love!
These leads are so funny π I love the pacing and how the other stories progress, but it isn't too long before we see our mains again. Can't wait for the "rom" part of RomCom π₯° I am thoroughly enjoying this one!
I love how Kdramas intertwine the messy beginnings of the main leads, it's just perfect and funny at the same time. This is going to take me happily through the winter months. My favorite line was from the second (possible?) couple, when she first saw him and thought, "Goodness, he's totally my type. Fragile and pale." LoL The cast so far, from the daughter, her love interest, to the other moms and students, their timing is just right. I think we have a Grade A RomCom here (pun intended)!
Honestly, I'll too agree that S1 was superior. Had these points been addressed then S2 might have been better:1)…
I agree with the Naksu part. In the very 1st episode of season 1, she left such a badass impression (and it was this actress from season 2 that portrayed it), that we wanted another glimpse of that excitement. After shifting into Mudeok, most of those episodes were building up until we got to see Naksu the assassin at the end of season 1 (with the other actress portraying it). I get the development of the mains, and wanting to portray their love story, but still... We wanted more action scences! And in the end, I love this story, and I will take what they gave us. The Hong sisters gave us a happy ending, unlike the K-Traumas I hear so many others complain about LoL
I think the husband will take his wife's side no matter how brutal she is. He was tricked by the FL, paternity all of a sudden is lurking, plus he's a perfectionist. It's all about "how things look" with him, and I think he'll try to maintain his "perfect" image. Just a thought...
With so many side stories it seems like we're getting closer for those characters. I love them all, but there's only 4 more episodes left. I need more soul shifting, sword fighting, assasin Naksu... I hope we get all that and more. Uk needs his answers!
It doesn't matter the era, century, or even if it's a made-up time frame, all Kdramas come down to is who the parents want their children to marry LoL πββοΈπ
This was a welcomed change from reality show norms. It had a sweet pace to it. Five friends, taking a break together and regrouping from their busy lives. I loved the ice skating part. They're so well defined in their craft that is was nice seeing them let loose. No perfection required, just fun. These four episodes is what a good sigh feels like.
i only clicked on it cus they were hugging in the netflix title card. is this bl? or is it just bromance.
Neither, they're split personalities (hence the title). They play well off of each other, very funny and touching at times. Bromance is in the tag, so I will agree with that, on second thought.
I love the pacing and how the other stories progress, but it isn't too long before we see our mains again.

Otherwise, I'm liking this drama and can't wait to see how it unfolds!
