Mayu looks like IU to me in this movie for some reason. So impressed with her acting. The scene where she was having a breakdown at her door was heartbreaking to watch.
Exactly. That is how I felt. Although this drama was not perfect, no drama is in fact, it taught some important…
Glad you were able to enjoy it! The themes of the show are indeed serious and should not be taken lightly. Technicality aside, I believe the show was able to convey the emotions well in the story.
Instead of pointing out the things that I like and don't like in this drama, i feel that pointing out the lessons I learned from the show would be much better.
First, it made me understand the struggle and pain of the families living with a person with disability. Indeed, it's not an easy life.
Second, Apathy. Is it not the root of the chaos in the story? Just like what Ji seok said, "it was the apathy of the people that killed her daughter."
It made me re-evaluate situations in my life where I showed apathy towards.
Plotholes in the story aside, this show was such a fun experience to watch. I guess it just really depends on the viewer right? For me, this is definitely one of my fave dramas this year.
KO JI SEOK!! ARE YOU EVEN REAL? As expected, there is no one in the story that would understand Yoo Ryung better than him. I'm quite disappointed that YR did not confessed the truth to Ji seok. But none of that matters now. At least that part of the story is already out of the way.
KSH acting in the beginning of ep. 11 is on point. I was like "YES!!!! spit those words to Mari and the rest of the freaking police force!!!"
Only 4 episodes left, I wonder how the writer will wrap up the story.
I agree with everything you said. Even if she had begun to consider telling Ji Seok about any of it, the way everyone…
Yes, i agree. She does value Ji seok's opinion, which made it 100% more difficult to tell the truth.
Ji seok knows partially the truth now, but not all of it. I'm interested to see how the writer will deal with him knowing the entire story. I just hope it will not be coming from Ma ri.
It is human to want to hide the things that we are ashamed of, especially the ones that have left severe consequences.
It may be guilt that blinded Yoo Ryung from the rest of the world, but it was shame that made her hesistant to trust and open up to people. At least that's how I see it. She is ashamed to what she did to her sister, and she knew how people would percieve her situation the moment they knew the truth. Mari? and the rest of the police crew? That's how. They would'nt even bother to help her at all.
Now I understand why she is extremely reluctant to open up to Ji seok especially at the beginning. But, we also knew that she had that one moment of hesistation with that voicemail.
Ep. 10 bought some clarity, but also more questions, and a bag full of emotions for the leads. I'm intrigued how story will all tie together.
I love that quote from Jo March. I'm one of the minority who doesn't want her to end up with any of the ML. Then…
I see. I saw it from the trailer too. I liked the PBS adaptation that they released in 2017. I have high expectation for the 2019 movie adaptation, since I like the director and casts.
It will be interesting to see how the writer wrap up the characters arc.
Excited for this one. They always bring out the best dramas during the last quarter, so I'm excited how this one will perform from the rest of the Nov.- Dec. releases.
"Neither should it be for a woman: for we’ve got minds and souls as well as hearts; ambition and talents as…
I love that quote from Jo March. I'm one of the minority who doesn't want her to end up with any of the ML. Then again, romance is one of the elements of this story.
Moon Gen Young acting is superb! You might find the two leading characters irritating and unreasonable at times…
I do agree, particularly on Yoo Ryung's character. As a viewer, it is frustrating and annoying to see her actions on screen. However, as a person, I think I can understand her. It is easy to be objective as a viewer. But, in real life? I believe not so much.
I feel your sentiment. I felt this way since 2 weeks ago, which is why I put off watching them for a while because…
I also thought about watching it after the drama ended. But honestly, if I waited that long, I would have probably be too lazy to finish it all. That is kinda of my problem. hahaha
This week episodes is really jarring esp today episode. I missed the flow early on in the series. Stop with Unnecessary…
I feel your sentiment. I felt this way since 2 weeks ago, which is why I put off watching them for a while because I had a feeling the story will spiral down. Although my reasons are quite bit different, I can relate to your feeling in general.
Just curious and this might be unpopular, but is there anyone who don't want the FL to end up with any of the ML? and just wishes them to move on separately?
This might be an unpopular opinion, but this might be the only thai drama that I've watched where I genuinely feel happy whether the FL ends up either one of the male leads. I admire them both for diff. reasons. They have their own charms and flaws.
Even though I kind of predicted the ending, it was still heartbreaking to watch. Overall, despite all the loopholes this show had, I genuinely enjoyed watching it. I learned a lot about friendship and life.
I love the subtle difference once he became self aware. He didn't do a complete 180, but you can see he's trying…
I agree, the part about the childhood memories is so heartbreaking. Those memories I think, are what keeping him intact all along. I hope he manage it until the end.
