STORYLINE: 8.5/10 Que Sera, Sera – English translation “Whatever will be, Will be” self explains the gist of this drama. This is the first (and only one to date) that I was actually rooting for both main guys to get the girl. The story follows the meeting of the four main characters (two females and males); the choices they make in regards to get that they want (whom they love) or help the one they love. With this understanding the development of the drama is based as each character copes with their decisions in order to concur love. After each character meets one another, each episode provides a new development to the four way love square. As partner changing kept occurring, I started questioning each character’s feelings and purpose for their decisions which motivated me to carry on watching and I was truly not disappointed by the conclusion. The suspicion of whom ends up getting the girl is carried out so effectively that the plot seems relatable. CHARACTERS: 9/10 - ACTING: 9/10 Despite Han Eun Soo (Jung Yu Mi) and Kang Tae (Eric) have never experienced love, their personalities differed. Kang Tae portrays confidence and knowledge in the area of dating but the catch is he only dates rich females, whereas on the other hand Han Eun Soo is clueless. Funniest moment is when Han Eun Soo has her first kiss and she asked for another; her innocence provides the comedic essences of the drama. Cha Hye Lin (Yoon Ji Hye) character is of a spoilt rich girl with brother issues but surprisingly she learns to acknowledge that you do not always get or deserve everything you love whereas Shin Joon Hyuk (Lee Kyu Han)’s calculative personality is definitely the source of the path of the drama. As rightful his worries were rightly placed which makes you feel sorry for him and better understand why his character becomes so hush and demanding. Shin Joon Hyuk’s insecurity is the main reason this drama stood out. For his insecurities are both relatable and reasonably placed. A quick highlight of the non-main characters are the parents, specifically the mothers especially Han Eun Soo’s mother (Geum Bo Ra) whom displays the lack of pride with her money dilemmas. MUSIC: 7/10 The use of music was well used at necessary places that i even managed to correctly predict when a suspence or calming tune was going to be played. However, K drama makers should really start acknowledging the English songs used in dramas mainly because I was left humming along on those I weren’t familiar with. LIKED – The acting abilities of each actor. DISLIKED – Eun Soo’s mother’s always involving/ recruiting her to gain money and Eun Soo’ push over personality. CONCLUSION: You should definitely watch this drama if you enjoy genres such as ROMANCE - hint of COMEDY - FAMILY – LOVE – JEALOUSY.
