I completely agree with you on the state of kdramas right now. I haven't had a recent drama touch me..I'm not sure why. I have also gotten older and it feels like most of the dramas being released are high school/young love. Which I like here and there but I like a little more maturity to my plots now. :)

Oh wait...I forgot. There was a kdrama released this year I really enjoyed. More slice of life. Have you watched "When Life gives you Tangerines?" It's slow but of better quality than they have been releasing of late.
