tbh, I think they're going to bullshit their way through everything again and make some magical excuse to get Yunxiao to forgive him. It's Changshou's show, why would they care for Yunxiao? They couldn't even give her a single scene in today's episode simply because she is no longer with Changshou. I wish they wrote the angst plotlines better, now it just feels like nothing is serious even if they kill characters off.
This dramas was such a great comedy, but I'm having so many problems with the actual politics of the drama. You can still have a comedic villain without making him foolish and stupid, the reason he killed the senior lady was so stupid?? I was hoping this drama wouldn't feed into usual Xianxia tropes, but pretty much the same format. they haven't tried anything new or given us a villain worth caring for. Gnat lady and butterfly guy were simply episodic fillers. We're supposed to believe the white guy from the Dragon Palace is the evil mastermind, but we've been given nothing about his character that makes him noticeable. He feels like a background character. Very disappointed.
Why did they kill all the seizing sect members that was being mind controlled instead of rounding them up and…
it was said in an earlier episode that there was no cure for the mind control spell, a convenient excuse to make a reason for angst. I think he can't bring back her clan members because of the karma that prevents him, but other than that, I word for word agree with you😭 he really made his problems everyone else's
To my understanding, Zhenni and Rui were the rumoured cast in 2024, but the project was on hold. This year, they've changed the production crew, and there was a new melon saying Liu XueNing will take the role:')
I'm watching this drama for SZN, I know it's a male-centered drama but she also deserves the recognition!! I hope…
I have watched TBL already, all I'm saying is that I'd like to see Zhenni in more trailers and posters since she hasn't been in much. Although I'd like a lot of focus on her, I understand it's male centric:) I would like her to still be treated like a main character since that's what she's listed as. I am not complaining that it is male centric

many FL dramas that don't have SZN in...I do like ARP so I'm not saying I don't want to watch him, but SZN is also a lead and should get screen time and be in materials, regardless of whatever center it is. They are both leads, yet only support characters have been included, it is not right:)
