Title Knot
Let’s face it. Knot is a very different and challenging project, its much darker , mature, serious BL. It’s…
I'm sorry, but "more darker , mature, serious BL" isn't really applicable here. While I find this show enjoyable, it leans more into cringe comedic effect blanketing serious themes and pretty weak script so far.

Payback or To my Shore fit "more darker , mature, serious BL" category much better if we're going for recent(ish) Thai BLs

Title Knot
Ngl, it does have a bit of a trashy wattpad fic feel to it, but it is entertaining to a degree (if they start to ramp up the plot long term, because ep3 could have been an email).

I actually checked out BoatOat previous drama page here and if that masterpiece of a review is anything to go by (https://mydramalist.com/profile/sasameyuki1950/review/450672), then they are yet to have proper, serious show together- Knot so far is pretty trashy

You're welcome. It's very much "it gets worse before it gets better" scenerio. What I like the most about this drama is how both main characters genuinely grow and confront their own demons throughout the story

Edit: That said, expect it to get really dark at times

Title Payback
Most of them are straight, so that's not an issue tbh
Going by interviews with actors, you can - it's quite often more awkward and mechanical behind the scenes. That's why they have intimacy coaches and directors on set to guide them thorough it.

(and I mentioned them being straight in most cases, because a straight guy suddenly wont develop feelings for another guy after a makeout session)

Title To My Shore
Hold up, this sh*t is weird and scary. I thought Hua Yong, Wu Suo Wei and Chi Cheng are the ultimate red flags…
Yes (he will get even worse for a while) and no (it will make the show better in a long run). On one hand Fan Xiao is a huge red flag, but on the other this series is much better at character developement and redemption arc that Desire and RL

Title Yesterday
Girl it's the darkest romance of thai bl series till date
It certainly feels less dark, considering we got two other (CN) highly rated bls with more pronounced themes of dark romance recently

I swear this deserves more hype than 8.5
I would say 8.5 is very high score on this site. Pretty much all of the best BLs are in the 8.5-9 range here

ok so when the season one aired i didn't watched it cause i thought maybe it'll be cringe i was getting the vibe…
Season 2 is overall pretty disconnected from each other, so it's realy up to you what parts to watch.
(and yes, North/Johan part kinda mogged Ter/Hill in season 1)

You're welcome. Season 2 is pretty much 3 shows (happening mostly after season 1) stitched together and each part can be watched as standalone (but they are happening in the same universe and are loosely connected)
Season 1 was one show with both pairs having their stories together intersecting with each other (North/Johan took a couple of episodes to start, but they kinda stole the show after that)

(copied from my comment on the S1 page since this page is probably more active )okay so i need someone to help…
Season 1 is chronologically first with Ter/Hill and North/Johan. Their stories are told alongside of each other.
Season 2:
Typhoon/Tonfah story starts during season 1 timeline wise, but it quickly progresses past it.
Arthit/Daotok story is firmly after season 1 (and somewhat after Typhoon's story or during late parts of it).
Tiger/Nao - no idea yet (might also start in late season 1, since they were teased there alongside Typhoon)

Show itself is quite weak, but chemistry (and Pavel's acting) is carrying it pretty hard

Kinda. It's 10 years timeskip and focus on the 2nd couple from Addicted
There are flashbacks to some of their scenes in Addicted and they talk about their shared past, but relationship itself is build as a new one. You don't even have to watch Addicted to get this drama

So I'm just boring for liking this. I thought it was a great show. lol am I shallow? 😭
Nah, it's just a flavor of enjoyable blandness. There is nothing particulary great about this show (and has some noticable flaws), but it is cute enough to watch it, turn your brain off and just vibe

That series is one of those, where everything works very well with each other and is very enjoyable... except the plot. The plot hinges on induced stupidity and characters not questioning things around them + it's very predictable. It's a bad sign, when supernatural show's story demands more suspension of disbelief than actual supernatural setting.

8/10 for acting, chemistry and overall experiece
6/10 for the plot
