Woah that ending was totally unexpected. I really liked this movie and I didn’t have trouble figuring out his dream state moments which I read a few times people did have trouble with. The acting was good I grew attached to most of the characters. The only thing is the reading for everything happening didn’t really make sense like they didn’t have to be involved at all but I guess there wouldn’t be a movie if they just made smart choices in the beginning. Greg hsu was stand out for me didn’t realise he was from movie A sun.

Sounded interesting but missed the mark I don’t know .. I don’t know how to explain it. It seemed alright at first but I got bored halfway. None of the characters were interesting either.

Didn’t know there’s a novel might read it. Might actually help and seer some questions the movie left me with.

I watched this after seeing upcoming Summer and I don’t know what to think. The sex scene was a bit random the ending didn’t feel complete I have no idea who Shane actually likes and I feel most bad for him. I felt Shane was a victim who must have been through a lot of trauma to act out the way he does and was desperate to keep the couple of people in his life that he had that he’d do anything just to keep them around. I don’t know if that’s what they were trying to do with this movie. If anyone knows of an article that clears up the movie more like what someone shared for upcoming summer please post it.

Watched first 2 episodes. Thought it was terrible. I didn’t realise it was like a black mirror (attempted) type episodes where they’re different. Dropped it.

You know what I thought this was just going to be another one of those articles that people are just taking complete random guesses but this made so much more sense and answered questions and all. Like I kept thinking why won’t they show Ming I have been interested in seeing her this whole time. Also his responses to Chen make way more sense.”and why him and his dad have such a weird relationship. Thank you for sharing.

I like that it didn’t have a typical ending it was more honest. I enjoyed it. I loved the little clips at the end of when they were filming. So cute.

Well yeah good way to look at it but wasn’t traumatised enough to not ever go back? He still chose that over being a good dad.

I think the characters were probably what saved it from being boring because they were great. But yeah pretty unsatisfying huh

The ending infuriated me. I liked the main guy so when he decided to not touch the money for a year out of guilt yeah sure but you didn’t try to ease that guilt by helping out any of your friends families in all that time? And he let down his daughter yet again making promises to see her then abandoning her again. I hated that. Hopefully he sent the mum a large amount of money at least but doubt it. I loved the old guy so much I was sad to see he was just another of those weirdos. I don’t like picturing him acting like those guys. I loved the girl that sacrificed her for the other I wish they gave her a bit more screen time. Couldn’t handle them killing all the lovely people in one game.

I do like squid game I do… but after finishing it I felt there were some things it lacked. Acting was great can’t fault that at all I was surprised with some of the bigger names. Don’t know how mr goblin got such a small part. There are quite a few of these type of shows/movies and I feel compared to them the games the players were playing was lacking. The marble episode was easily the best one. It was a bit slow and dragged a bit. It was good at getting you emotionally invested in the characters. I’m surprised it got as popular as it did with people outside of the Asian drama world.

I agree so far. I haven’t finished yet but so far I find it slow and the games aren’t very good they seem very simple. I don’t get how some Asian shows/movies can all of a sudden get attention of people that don’t usually want him them and some don’t. And they’re is generally better ones.

Roy is just such a good actor. He never disappoints. I usually don’t like sad movies but with the humour they added here and there it made it enjoyable. They really looked I love that takes good acting. Wish I didn’t have to cry so much

I watched the ending and feel the exact same way

I had put this drama off for a veeeery long time glad I decided to finally watch it. I get annoyed watching cross dressing dramas only because they always take so long to reveal themselves and I always think why does it need to take this long to end your lies?? Even though I hadn’t seen it before it had a real nostalgic feel to it. One thing that annoyed me was (now I know this is 10+ yrs old and fashion is ever changing) the lead singers style. I know some Korean men like a lightly feminine touch to their style but this guy was straight out wearing women’s clothes and it was super distracting to me. He is a very attractive guy I feel his style held him back. I was glad he got the hair cut.

It was ok. I mainly gave points because shiba was good looking. I felt bad for the male lead. He just failed a lot poor guy.

It is still good. It’s just there’s a character that annoys you but every show needs that kind of character.

This was so good. I wish it didn’t cut off at the end but that shows that there most likely will be a season 2 so it out weighs the con.
