Do you have more artsy type recommendations? I’ve come across a few but it’s not easy to search for. Don’t think it has its own genre on here does it?

The acting was good and the production too. I don’t know about the story I kind of like it but sort of bland? I have to be honest I thought it was going to be a completely different type of movie.. I thought it might have some spooky vibes but I was wrong. Not even thriller more just like drama? I do usually like these artistic type of movies though.

I love a drama where I can’t tell where the relationships going. It’s boring if too predictable. I personally really liked this drama maybe because it was shorter I didn’t feel there was too many dragging bits. It was a little ridiculous how many people were connected in one way or another though lol I kept getting confused with who is who and who is related. At one point I thought there was an inbred love triangle but I was luckily mistaken.

I loved this so much I was so sad it ended. The Ainori shows are always so good

I did really like this drama at first but near the end it kind of fizzled for me. I barely concentrated on the last episode which is probably why it wasn’t making much sense to me. But majority of it I say was well worth the watch it was a very good creative idea. The “friend” whoever he is of the FL felt like such an unnecessary character. What did he bring to the story? He felt like a very pointless NPC put there to just complain every now and then.

Ruby is just taking over my Netflix what the heck 3rd thing in a row I watched with her in it but I’m not complaining lol

I like the first 2 episodes but the 3rd didn’t catch my attention and struggled to keep watching. I’m guessing they didn’t keep same guests because they had prior arrangements

Atsushi is much more likeable of a host here than rea[l]ove

I dunno I felt like the first half the male lead was also rude and immature towards her. He seemed a little boring too but everyone’s going to have a preference in who they prefer and I respect yours. Just giving my perspective.

Why?

I’m putting this as spoiler but I personally loved that they didn’t just have her accept her ‘ugly’ form (wasn’t even ugly besides the painted eyebrows) and they showed her accepting herself and kind of adjusting her look so she didn’t always have to wear make up but they didn’t take away her love of wearing it either. I find it annoying when they try to push an agenda in a show.

One thing I didn’t like is how horrible people at her new school turned from her ugly self which wasn’t even ugly she had some pimples which most of them probably had. It wasn’t like a massive lie like it was obvious she’s wearing makeup what did you expect to be under it.

Awww I’m half way through and getting SML syndrome I prefer the second lead for her I know he isn’t perfect but awww I love them for each other even though she looks like she has no interest lol

EDIT: now that I have finished I have to say I love this drama. I felt like majority of characters were interesting even side characters. I still like male lead more but that’s ok. I like the ending it felt complete and there was nothing that irritated me. I don’t know if I’ve power watched a season so fast before besides the shorter ones. I liked the sisters relationship it was funny watching the roles reversed so drastically.

AND MY FAVOURITE PART… THE BROMANCE SO CUTE AND FUNNY REMINDS ME of the goblin bromance

I think it might of been SBS now or abc iview (australia) but I can’t find it anywhere atm (sbs is where I first saw it years ago and they usually bring back precious movies again)

I agree I started hoping they’d end up together but I knew it wasn’t likely.

Man this was so good 10/10 the acting the story ahhh loved it. This is one of the few that I think could go another season but the ending was great regardless. Only thing was I was surprised by the end coupling I thought he was giving major SL vibes but hey good for him.
