I became her fan after watching TTEOTM and LIS. I have watched OAO too but doesn’t like her meek character. I prefer her playing bubbly character. Also love her in variety shows.

Yes!! I love such complex and grey characters. And I do think Cheng Lei has a very charming resting b*tch face, very suited for playing such character. hehehe I am watching his short drama now, Familiar Stranger, also very entertaininf.
Actually up until now we dont know what is holding SOKP from airing. MJTY has a minor character that is having issue IRL and that drama successfully aired and ended.
At least with this drama we still can hope for a season2, unlike some drama like TTEOTM who left us heartbroken…
almost all the drama that I watched recently also has open ending. For example, Mysterious Lotus Casebook, Back from the Brink. Because these are following novels so we know there’s no season2 for sure :(

Will there be season2? Maybe yes, maybe no. It all depends on iQiyi and the director/writer. Since this is an original script (which is very rare in C period dramas), the possibilities of season2 is definitely there. And also because this is only 24 episodes (which is ALSO very rare in C-drama), seems like the director purposely making room for Season2. But like I said, it all depends on the reception of this drama and if iQiyi is willing to put in money to make more. IF this was a Netflix production, I can put my bet that there WILL be season2. But not sure with C-ent.
