I loved Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum in KMHM. Is Secret just as good?
Actually I preferred Secret more than KMHM. Character development is superb here. While in KMHM, it only depends on Ji Sung's acting but in Secret, everyone performance is superb.
The only thing that I liked about this drama is the male lead (first time seeing Ji Sung), the OST and OTP chemistry (I was rooting for Shin Segi!!). I don't really like Hwang Jung Eum here, yes, I was totally annoyed with her screaming. But their interaction and chemistry were superb, favourite part was their bickering turn into rapping. I couldn't get enough of them, which brought me to Secret Love, and it was an even better written drama than KMHM.
I agree with your review 100%. The only thing that I liked about this drama is the male lead (first time seeing Ji Sung), the OST and OTP chemistry (I was rooting for Shin Segi!!). I'd already done episode 13 and since I have already came this far, I can't wait to finish this drama so that I can move onto a new 1. And I'm on the verge of dropping this. I think Hwang Jung Eum and Park Seo Joon has better chemistry as brother and sister in KMHM. Their friendship here is awesome too, but just lack of something as lover. Maybe because all the character's here has appealing back story, except for Seong Jun's? He is just a workaholic longing for his first love.
Siwon has a mysterious back story, weird and eccentric character, great acting. Couldn't blame those that is rooting for him. He really did feels like a main lead material here, just the script doesn't allow him to be. Hwang Jung Eum has always been a great actress, so it's not a surprise that she outshines the male lead. I prefer her pairing with older actor. #teamjisung
I'm lucky to get to know him through his earlier drama and movie, Successful Story of A Bright Girl and Windstruck. Love both actresses too. And recently just watched Shine of Go Crazy. I really love Jang Hyuk and he chose difficult characters to play. But I don't think I can watch another of his drama anytime soon. I realize that most of his drama/movie has bad ending (a lot of his character died or OTP just couldn't be together). Too much heartbreak.
As much as I like Joo Won (I think he is a superb actor) but I don't think he can do romance. I couldn't see the chemistry and watching this drama, I was like, wait a minute, when did they fall in love??
I liked this drama alot except one thing which is the main lead female character Her acting was great but her…
How do you suppose her to be strong when she is seeing ghost everyday? It's not some ability she was born with. Anyone will go crazy if they suddenly realize they can see ghost everyday.
My heart aches for Siwon in this episode. Still want Siwon and Jackson to end up together
You know there is very slim chance for second lead to get the leading girl (in K-dramaland it's almost impossible). I am happy enough if both second leads hook up together.
I'm watching this because one of my friend highly recommended this drama. I hesitated at first because it's Kill…
I love it when second leads has equally strong storyline and doesn't do harm to both leads. Oh Yes, I never expect Choi Siwon to be so good. I really LOLed at his budding bromance with Ji Seong Jun. And Go Joon Hee is good too, I started to empathize her character more than Hye Jin. Even though Hye Jin is the 'ugly' character here and get bullied a lot but she is a happy and bubbly person, she is who she is, and has a warm family to lean on, and a great friend too. But despite all the lavish attention she (Min Ha Ri) gets, she was never happy and never feel love until she met JSJ, isn't this cliche story good enough to be leading story material? But since they are not OTP, they will never be together. Ahh, how I wish she can find her true love sooner, eccentric Shin Hyeok maybe?
