like someone said earlier, they don't need award performance for actor/actress in cdrama. You dont like her because of her style. But this type of styling is very popular in China, like Esther Yu. And big eyed actress with bad acting is also very popular (like Yukee Chan and Angelababy). She has the demand and fanbase, that's why she get many drama offer.

I think comparison is because it's by the same author but story is very different. The outrage is probably because the drama change a lot from original novel story, which I am a bit disappointed too. Yes, tbh FL here is less cringe than Orchid, maybe a little over dramatic but still ok for me. I might drop this because of the story, but I will still give it a try until episode 10.
Ah Yes!!! I AM. hahaha. Just sometimes my brain doesn't work well with all these abbreviation. LOL. But I have not finish watching because I didn't pay for the express episodes. And yes, it IS an easy watch, with so many good lookers not fighting for any girl.

At this point, I am used to traumatizing ending for xianxia drama. Or open ending, which is consider a HE. For LYF, S2 will only show 12months later, it's their new ridiculous rule.

I dont hate them too but I feel it’s a very lazy writing for both second leads. They both are obsessed with first leads for no reason. Urghh..Dear writers, stop making characters fall in love with people who doesn’t love them. Such wrong message for audience and it’s not fun to watch.

My third drama for YCY (unfortunately dropped the other 2 too). For BFTB, it’s my first for HMH and YH. Love them both!! The chemistry is sizzling! and story was captivating from the very beginning.

And I read that she will be a simpleton in the next lifetime, I don’t know if I can take it anymore. 😅 Of all the MC from Jiulufeixiang’s story (drama), I like Yan Hui from BFTB the most. Strong, practical and funny.
Not really. Few years ago cdrama used to be much longer. I'd completed Ruyi Royal Love (87 episodes) and Story of Ming Lan (78 episodes). I don't know how I did it, but I did. Nowadays drama with 40 episodes are just piece of cake. And also fast forward button can be your best friend. LOL
