Should I just read the book and give up hope for this drama?

There will always have people who disagree with something but I am SO happy that LYN is finally getting a ML role. And this character suit his cool cold look. And I personally think that the age is appropriate too, because he looks mature enough to be a respectful marquis. I know the coming of age back then in China was really really young but I still find it hard to believe when the General is only in their early 20s.
I am reading this novel right now and can't wait for the drama.

I've not been watching kdrama lately and moved to watching Cdrama, and somehow I pick up a few kdrama to watch, Black Knight and this, Revenant. Seems like kdrama has been doing this gloomy slow burning style. Previously when I watched Hellbound was like this too. Why do they make horror/action show so slowburning? lol

Why does all C-drama has to be so slow burning. I am almost dropping this but Luxun is very cute. Qianwei is kinda annoyingly cute too. I hope they move forward to their recent storyline and not dwell too long in the alternate storyline. (same with what happened in Lighter and Princess…the school line is too long…urgghh)

I may have miss something in the first few episode because I wasn’t very focus while watching. Why does Qianwei wants to matchmake Luxun with Zixin?

Because Unchained Love is palace drama. China is very sensitive with palace drama nowadays (especially when it's about harem). Don't you realize we don't get palace drama like Yanxi Palace anymore nowadays. I suspect this is also the reason why Story of Kunning Palace is not release.
