In Xianxia's ending, it's very typical that either FL or ML's soul get trapped somewhere. In above two dramas you mentioned, the drama will show they returned, but most of the time xianxia will have open ending, where they will never show them returning or reborn/revive.
In very rare occasion we will get a straightforward happy ending, for ending Love of The Divine Tree.

Indeed he is a very good actor, I liked him a lot even when he is playing villain. All the dramas that I dropped (In Blossom, KMLM and maybe this too) didn't do him justice at all. I hope he will get a better script in the future. He is really suitable to play morally grey or eccentric character.

the saddest happy ending... :')

I am still traumatised with this ending. This is literary the saddest happy ending. T__T

After a few months finished watching this drama, and also finished watching a few other dramas, I come back here to say

Fu Ling and Chong Zhao has a connection and Fu Ling subconsciously knew it, that's why she is drawn to him and doesn't kill him. I don't want to spoil too much for you if you haven't finish with this drama.

Look at my profile picture and you will know that's my fave ML too. LOL

Just embraced yourself when you get into xianxia genre, chances of sad ending or bad ending or open ending, is very high. lol

ML suppose to be a morally grey, or a very red flag character. That's what the trailer promised us. But somewhere in the middle he turned into a puppy in love and into a green flag character....

Hoboy I am struggling with this, LXY is a brilliant actor and I am still waiting for his breakthrough drama, if I drop this, then this will be the third LXY's drama that I gave up on.

This is no where near as good as The Glory. I dropped this somewhere in the middle.

Till The End of The Moon is very similar. Tan Tai Jin is even more pitiful and suffered much more.

It was just okay, the rating 8.0 is apt....

ohwell, I am not too choosy and I am ok with woody actor, some of them can be very successful despite their lack of acting skill, I mean look at Yangyang. lol. XYL is still quite cute. LOL

Because before that tragedy happened, the story is not about revenge yet. Its more to ZHY quest for survival and searching for her footing and purpose in the Zhuang family. Sigh… but I didnt expect that too.

I personally think the rating of this drama will go a few notch higher if the ML is someone else. ..

I am watching A Moment But Forever but it’s kinda boring…
