I appreciate this. Because a lot of people on here have been trying to police others opinions on this topic about the drama. I can only hope that drama will be perfect. I believe it will be as IQYI rarely disappoints me.

Definitely. I want people to understand just because we’re not enjoying this drama doesn’t make us less fans of the actors involved. Because many have been trying to downplay people’s opinions/ feelings as if we’re not smart enough to grasp this drama. This drama isn’t anything new the writing is the same as other dramas. The only thing is different is the Cp pairing. Which has a lot of potential but sadly that’s not enough for me to keep going forward. I’ll come back once more episodes have released and reviews is getting better. As of now I can’t root for either character. Not the FL nor the ML. I can only root for the scenery and the ost because that’s the only saving grace for me.

It’s in the top 5 wetv hot list so it shows its doing well in China. I actually like it. But I’m not familiar with the Fl acting so it’s kinda hard for me but she’s starting to grow on me.

No it’s actually because of that drama. I loved the CP and how good friends they are in real life. Both agreed when the time is right they would love to do another drama together. fingers crossed 😭😫

I tried. I don’t think I can make it to twenty. I’m so disappointed 😔 I’ve waited so long for this pairing and drama. The chemistry is kinda there but it’s the writing for me. The same ole tale storyline. I hate to say it but omg SJFY was way better than this. 😭 That says a lot since both were produced by youku and both had chopped scenes etc. Albeit, SJFY had it worse with deleted scenes etc still was a better storyline than this. I’m happy for those who’s enjoying this drama I wish you all the best. As for now I’m dropping this. Might pick back up once I gaged what Weibo has to say. Wishing Allen and Peng success with this work. I know it’s not their fault. Just writing and directing.

well that’s good to hear. I only ask because I noticed some of her up coming dramas is Iqyi. I missed her Tencent dramas so glad she’s doing another one. I hope her character breaks out so she can receive more roles.

really? that sucks hope you’ll be able to be done with that drama. I’m only giving it to 20 Becuase I feel like something might’ve happened that can up the drama pressure for me. I hope if not, I’ll put it on hope. As there’s a few dramas coming out this week that has my eyes.

omg just when you think they have reached common ground. Here comes the “father poisoned daughter, daughter doesn’t know, husband will keep lie.” I really hate how they are using the tropes you see in like those 20 min short dramas. I know some older Chinese dramas has this vibe but it’s getting repetitive and annoying. I’m trying to keep going because of the actors. If it wasn’t for them I would’ve stopped watching. Also, not sure why people are upset with others opinions if you’re enjoying this drama that’s good for you. No need to tell others to drop it and get on their case for not being on the same page. Same goes for telling fans to stop asking for kisses. I am actually one of those who wished in episode 9 we got a actual kiss. Even if it’s a peck bird kiss. I would’ve taken that. The scene and mood was right. Understandable we get why no kisses but that’s not going to stop fans who enjoy even the littlest of small pecks. Still keeping my fingers crossed and will see a power house couple before mid episodes.

Drama is number 7 on We tv hot list so it’s doing pretty decently for an old drama. Very happy for LHY.

Yeah I’m solely here for her an after the huge success Blood river brought her I’m sure we will get better roles for next year. If people are so bent on someone’s opinion they shouldn’t be joining a discussion page. Or actively looking for negative or indifference opinions.

That’s my issue it’s giving GMP plot an the first episode showing us how things got to be so bad. Really don’t help with the storyline as at times it felt super speed. I know many are upset most of us are not enjoying the drama but I’ve been waiting for this for a min now. It’s kinda hard for me to even trust youku when it comes to peng Xiao ran cuz they chopped and screwed her shining just for you drama so badly. I was upset. So I have not much stake to even hope this time will be different. I’m not gonna drop it unless it gets really annoying, but as of now I’m giving it to at least 20 episodes.
