I agree. I started LBL and at first I did love it but it got boring so it’s on hold. That’s not to say I hate the drama was gonna pick it back up after this ended. I too started this for Yuwen. She’s a underrated talented actress. Who’s been a favorite of mines for years. Since her Novoland days. I’m also a sucker for the handsome Chen Xing Xu as well. I’ve loved him since GBMP. Sadly could not get into any of his other roles after that pairing with PXR. However this drama is now my second CP of his. I’m honestly enjoying it and the humor is truly good not over the top. Not cliche. The writing and pacing is pretty good. The love story is brewing nicely for a short drama. This is one for the history drama books. The antics can keep on comparing but numbers don’t lie. I expect this drama to reach 30000 heat index by the end of this week.

you’re so welcome. I’m just getting sick of LBL fans who are coming on here blasting their love for the drama. The drama is over and done with. The Ml has moved on to his current airing project promoting it. The FL has just had a new drama lead announce. It’s okay to still like that drama but come on. To keep praising it and even talking down on this drama is rude. It’s happening over on Viki as well. The only place it’s not getting hate is mainland China. Neitzens are enjoying this drama and the ratings are reflecting that. Tencent / Wetv is calling this a big hit drama. It’s in no shy or lesser than LBL it’s doing the same numbers quite quickly as LBL did. Many are just not wanting to move on. It’s kinda like LITC all over again. Where certain fans would rate the ML latest drama low because they couldn’t moved on from LITC CP. Now it’s happening again but here. To each their own but don’t come on this page comparing two different genres of a drama. I think this drama on MDL and Viki isn’t getting a fair shake with how it’s being compared so rentless.

this isn’t a contest. Also MDL ratings isn’t a stable the measure of how a drama is doing domestically. If you want to know how good it is. it’s number one on catseye data.LBL has been pushed to top 3. So if you like that one more enjoy it. if you find this one also good. enjoy it. I personally agree with the comment above. have his other drama on hold. but this one is definitely good. hope you can enjoy this one just the same.

glad the rating went up. even though mdl doesn’t count still was shocked mdl allowed people to rate this drama and it just aired. normally they wait a few days once we get more than five episodes.

She’s just trying anything at this point. Ep.3 was a hoot. I also just realized I have not fast forward yet nor gotten bored like I normally do when the writing starts to drag with the progression of the lead couple. I’m enjoying this episode by episode. Chen Xing and Yuwen have amazingly chemistry. I enjoy every aspect of their interactions. I’m also loving the Mother, the best friend in the novel and the back ground characters.

this drama is so freaking funny. I love it so much. I needed this after a slow start off this year with many disappointing dramas.

I forgot how good my girl Wang Yu Wen can be funny. The chemisty is definitely there and I’m enjoying this so far.

I agree loved him only in that. He’s pretty good in LbL and his chemistry with Wang is electric so much it’s on Weibo trending everyday. Since a Weibo awards night. So I’m excited more so for this drama. I hope one day him and Peng can reunite.
