totally agreed..i don’t know whats the point of forcing a new romance here while we already have a great chemistry…
Read the original synposis of the drama, it literally says that he falls in love with a mysterious girl (Eun-yu). The family bonding is just one part of the drama, there's more to it.
The original synopsis of Twinkling Watermelon is a coming-of-age drama in which a coda (child of deaf adult) model student boy befriends the younger version of his father and falls in love with a mysterious girl after he accidentally time travels through a suspicious musical instrument store. Eun-yu is the mysterious girl that Eun-gyeol falls in love with, it had been that way since the drama was announced that Eun-gyeol would have a love interest.
the eunyu hate is just misogyny. you have to agree. these are the same people who would eat up a 2guy1girl love…
So true though, it reminds of Cheer Up (2022) where a lot of the viewers were obsessed with the SML because of his visuals despite him being a lowkey stalker of the FL and treating other girls terribly. Not realising that he was a complete red flag but hey he's was a good looking guy.
Ratings dropped in 5th and 6th ep too. Its not related to writting. Its related to hyunwook issue. Public is boycotting
The ones that you mentioned shows has actors and actress are quite well known and they have a well established fanbase in Korea it's the same with Kim Tae-ri. Hyun-wook on the other is still a rising star, so image is very important.
Yep but after watching ep 8 its seems thats start her character development even a little like she tell YiChan…
She was only introduced a few episodes ago, the character development is going happen as the story progress when she becomes more aware the situations of the other characters but the expectation that she should act like she should know everything about what is going on is unrealistic.
It was never about the Ha family in the first place. Eunyu is a main character in this show. The ratings also…
Their story is a part of the storyline but the storyline doesn't revolve around them. They are only teenagers so it's unlikely to get married immediately.
I know some of Eunyu's action are irrational, she's acting on a last minute plan that she came up with when she arrived there, it's defiently not well thought out plan that there are many issues with it. Also what us viewers know doesn't mean that the characters themselves will know eg Eungyeol's parents are Yi-chan and Cheong-ah.
the drama is one of the best of this year...the humor, emotion, pace i like every inch of this ...although eun yu…
Eun-yu isn't unnecessary there's reason why she's there, she's not a side character in the drama she's the Female Lead that's why she has so much screentime. There's a reason why Se-kyung left for the US and not return to Korea, Eun-yu is there in place of her mum.
naah it is worth watching it tho, am just gonna skip her annoying part specially when she is interfering the future…
She doesn't know that Yi-chan and Cheong-ah are Eun-gyeol parents, if Eun-gyeol had never mentioned anything about Yi-chan to her it wouldn't made her go and try get Yi-chan with together with her mum as she was unhappy with her parents relationship hoping that it could change her mum's future. I don't think it was her original plan she only got the idea from Eun-gyeol as he was the who told her everything and put that idea in her head.

It's the same with A Business Proposal (where Seol InAh was the second female lead), the second couple had less screentime together than the main couple but they had decent amount of scenes with the two main leads.
If you don't like Eun-yu, just drop this drama. Seol InAh is the female lead and nothing is going to change the fact that she would be there for most of the episodes. It would save you from wasting your time watching a drama without the female lead.
Can it really be Eun Gyeol though? She wouldn’t have known about him before as he was born in the 2000s so he’s…
Defiently not Eun gyeol. he's not from 1995 and she had mentioned about her first love when she first met Eun gyeol which was before he time travelled to 1995
Cryxtal's song is so cute, I really love the song. babyMint did a collab with drink company called Ocean Bomb, it's similar style as their Ep5 song. GenBlue was with FILA, the beginning was quite child like, song is nice. PurpleCrush was is just like their other songs nothing really stands out from them, Sunny Parfum brand colllab was Omix is also quite cute too defiantly one of my favourite. Twinkle Black, did collab with XPG a game company, they are great vocalist. Their songs improved a lot from Ep1 unlike Purple Crush whose song all kind of sound the same. Crimzon song was nice, the stage was pretty cool the brand that they did a collab is KinjaBang noodles.
Ep12 Graduation
Twinkle Black their stage is okay I wouldn't say that it's the best stage, getting full points seems a bit of a stretch for them, Crimzon song is nice I had never been much a fan of Hip Hop but it's pretty good, For babyMint I really love their song, loved that they split into three groups with their own. Really loved Vikky's solo vocal in the song too bad they only got 48 from the audience. Sunny Parfum got YGX YB who had worked with Blackpink, BigBang and Ikon, to do their choreography of their stage. Parade is the way to end the show, they had consistent good stages minus the collab stages unlike most other groups. I had always picked them as the top 3 favourite stages. Purple Crush they finally redeemed themselves after many episodes of terrible songs since Rinii left, was really lovely to see Rinii on stage for their last stage. Rinii's vocal is really good and unique it stands out well. GenBlue song sounds like it could be an Iz*One song, I think the issue with some of their songs are too like K-pop which can be a bit problematic for the Taiwanese audience.
Waiting for In persent time FL husband character and his past childhood character picturesMostly ML(Ryeoun)Ryeoun…
Why do think Ryeoun is playing a double role? They already have someone playing On Ji Hwan in the drama, that's Oh Hee Jun. He had already appeared in the drama a few times
I hope I can help answer these questions for the few who are still confused....1. Is the girl with short hair…
My exact same thought with number 2, everyone is blaming Eun-yu for going after Yi-chan and that she's ruining CheongChan if Eun-gyeol didn't bring up Yi-chan liking her mum, I doubt she would care about Yi-chan. It did seem she got an idea when she was talking to Eun-gyeol about why she's here.
