Not worth it in my opinion. For 19 episodes fl was too pathetic. It made me angry for her. Sure there were fun scenes but it was clear to the audience ml did not feel the same way about her. Sometimes he saw her as a friend, sometimes he saw her as an annoying thorn. He made it very clear he didn’t like her like that but she continue to cling to him. Maybe 10 episodes but 19 episodes like that was too much. They had a ons because he thought he was sleeping with his ex. He still loves his ex so he decides to go abroad to find her but she tells him not to come, she found someone else. Fl is pregnant. He decides to take responsibility and marry her. The next 7 episodes his feelings for her develop but the ex is back so he stays entangled with her. The ex schemes and fl thinks ml cheated. 2ml takes her to a hotel to dry off from the rain. Ml thinks she cheated. Fl finds ml at a hotel and lets her into the room and tells her he cheated back with the ex. They divorce. For an episode, ml has lingering feelings for fl but it doesn’t overpower his feelings for the ex. After his mother’s blessing, he dates the ex for 6 episodes. Most interactions with fl is met with hostility. He’d rather the ex take care of his child than ask the actual mother fl and to no surprise the ex says it’s not her problem. Fl gets to visit her son so their relationship isn’t as bad anymore. In episode 35 the ex is selfish and useless, she’s upset ml doesn’t conform to her anymore and threatens to break up, ml agrees. It’s not until the last 10 minutes of the last episode ml asks fl to give him another chance but she says it’s too late, she’s going to usa with 2ml. At the airport 2ml tells her he knows her heart and only wants her to be happy. She goes to find ml and they are together in the end.

I think the writing for ml was very lacking when it came to his love for fl. His bs attitude was too long and his love was written too short. Even in those 7 episodes of marriage it was nothing special at least when you compare it to fl’s love.

It’s always a gamble when watching kdramas because 60% of the time, the last two episodes is always trash. They love to give the villains a character arc followed by a happy ending. Skip this bs.

The mistress getting beat up by the scumbag ml was her karma. Fl sheltered her and now they’re cordial. Not everyone needs a redemption. A mistress bragging about stealing your man, I don’t feel sorry one bit.

I just discovered him through short drama and what you said is an eye opener. After everything that happened to yml, I wouldn’t be surprised if czj refused to sleep with the higher ups and the scandal was his punishment.

My interpretation of the ending is its open ended. I think ml and fl are gonna find their way back together. 3ml telling ml fl hasn’t changed implied she’s still thinking about him and ml admitting his regret and looking at her in that video tells me if he had a second chance, he’d take It. Plus all of the happy flashbacks of when they were in love at the end. I think the writer/author made him cheating and her getting pregnant and an abortion equal sins to cancel out each other to justify them getting back together because “true love” always finds their way back to each other.

That’s not true love at all. You don’t cheat on the one you love just because she’s not ready to be intimate. Your friends making fun of you for that and seeking intimacy elsewhere says a lot about a guy. Age and maturity level, is not a justifiable excuse to cheat. The writer adding that scene after the fight where ml asks where did their relationship go wrong because he tried for them was laughable. Am I the only one that isn’t blind? It was obvious why he drifted away from her. This is another problem with the movie, the writer trying to make sentimental moments but forget about the obvious.

The ons and ml…then finding out ons is friends with fl and could be the bridge that brings them back together is just so weird. I don’t like how they made it seem fl is still hung up on him, waiting for her cheating ex. It’s been 15 years. It makes her look pathetic. I want her story to end happy with a family of her own. Ml is the one that cheated so him reminiscing about the one that got away is more realistic and being happy for her that she got her happy ending should have been the ending. Overall, ending was terrible, not realistic and unsatisfactory. There are much better coming of age/first love films. Skip!

Group of 5 friends. Ml and fl are a couple. His best friend and another girl are a couple. 5th friend in love with fl.

Ml has a ons which turns out to be the videographer for 2ml wedding. They meet at the wedding except fl and reminisce their youth as ons records. The film flashes back and forth between present and past.

Typical high school love story, the cool popular guy falls for the shy girl. The core group of friends make memories like you’d expect from teenage relationships.

First year in university, ml meets free spirited musician like him and in the same major. His friends make fun of him fl hasn’t put out after being together for 3 years. They go on a date and she still doesn’t get the hint. He spends more and more time with 3fl. Fl notices right away he’s cheating on her and tells him if he falls in love with someone else she’ll leave him alone but he continues to string her along. Fl is miserable and still doesn’t break up with him. She catches him spending the night with 3fl at the apartment he rents that she doesn’t know about. She still doesn’t break up with him after that.

By the 2nd year of uni, ml was openly cheating with 3fl. The core group get together to drink. Atmosphere is icy, ml and fl on the rocks, 2ml and 2fl have broken up. Fl begs ml not to break up. He finally admits it and they break up for good but not before 3ml punches ml and they fight until they get kicked out. Ml tries to justify that he fought for their relationship when he messed up his exams to go to the same uni as her. They all leave.

Fl loses her v to ahole ish type of guy. He trashes her to his friends in the dorm and ml punches him and runs off to find fl. He yells at her for what she did and she says he did with 3fl why can’t she. He says he did it because he was in love and she said she was in love with him but that didn’t make him love her. This scene was your typical in the rain dramatic moment. Two months later ml and 3fl are in the nurses office and overhears fl is pregnant. He runs off to find her and sees her being berated who is the father. Ml speaks up and says he’s the father, 3fl hears this, slaps him and takes off. Fl goes in for an abortion alone. She walks out in pain, ml hugs her, they cry, she lets go and walks away.

Back to the present. 2ml gives 2fl his wife’s bouquet, apologizes for the past and wishes her a blessed life. She’s actually a very successful fashion designer. They all are pretty much doing well in their field of employment. Ml lives like a typical bachelor you’d see in movies, hence the ons. New character 6th friend comes into the picture and they catch his wife cheating so they all beat up the man as a playful bonding moment, then go play some basketball. As ml is about to shoot, he remembers the past where he’s about to shoot in a basketball game and finally admits he regrets it. This is the scene before he hears about fl pregnancy.

Ml and 3ml are walking at night. 3ml tells him he saw fl two years ago. Ml asks him how she’s doing and before they depart, 3ml smiles and says she hasn’t changed.

Ml takes ons to airport and she gives him a cd to watch when he gets home. Before she leaves she asks him if he could see fl again what would he say. How are you, long time no see but when ons leaves he repeats it sorrowly. He watches the cd and it’s ons running to fl asking her if she saw ml again what would she say and it’s a scene of her turning around, wind in her hair, looking beautiful in front of a scenic view. The camera zooms into ml as he watches her in awe and flashes to scenes of happy moments of their relationship. The end.

I saw this on TikTok and wanted to give a recap/spoiler for anyone looking to watch it. I notice in a lot of Asian films/dramas the guy gets a second chance and the girl gives in. Not a fan. I feel sorry for those who continue to stay with a cheater, you deserve better.
