Thank you for pointing this out because I have been asking the same questions and people have been slamming me for not understanding the FL. To put it plainly, she married the ML reluctantly for the room and so that her brother could come back and marry. She always considered this marriage as a temporary situation and a transaction. Of course she could not have gotten away with this bull shit if she had married Ye Fang. She was lucky that ML liked her enough to make so many sacrifices . She clearly would not have married the ML if he was not able to get the room. At this point I really don’t like the FL’s character at all . She is very partial towards just her family, their wants and her wants. She does not consider the ML as a part of her family unit . It is a little frustrating to watch when he slogs like an ox to make her happy

I am actually enjoying the interactions between Fang Mujing and Que Yue. Their relationship is really layered and yet unknowingly they seem to understand each other and are getting closer. Mujing is still stubborn but I think she is warming up to him
I love what Fang Muyang said to her about goals in ep 16 and how you cannot stare at one spot . Because life is all about detours and you will have to make those detours to get to where you want and sometimes it may not even be that goal. It may be something else . So yes you cannot obsess over it like that . Instead you have to enjoy the journey of life. It is the biggest lesson that Fei Ni needs to learn

It takes time to get over the death of someone you loved. The issue here is that she went hastily into this marriage just because she needed his connections to get what she wants. I will not applaud her or justify this reason. Her fault is in the word ‘hasty’ - she is just not serious about this marriage. To me it seems like there is physical attraction at least - but then she will claim to fulfill the duties of a wife. But I do think that even if he thought of it as a rebound relationship , he still cares about her . That is why he follows her everywhere . But she seems to be this controlling person who will withhold everything if he mentions the ex. Actually that is a red flag . She had even denounced her family for her opportunities.
