And why should I like every drama - my taste is different and this one is not my cup of tea. This is my opinion and I stick by it . Such an empty vessel getting an 8.6 rating is downright ridiculous. There are much bette dramas to watch

Great analysis ! Chen Yi needed that from her . She may have come across as nasty and heartless sometimes but he totally deserved it .

Yes people have stopped appreciating a well balanced dramas with good characterizations and strong story lines. Was she really dominant? She was basically looking for a doormat with power and connections who will follow her like a puppy. The crown prince fit the bill and his short life was an enormous bonus to her. And plus he got some —-. And then you have her ex husband listing for her too😂😂😂😂Do you know how crass that is ?? Just think about it. This story is pretty disgusting . What kind of story is this?? And why is this so attractive!

I guess on MDL dumbed down shallow stories get much higher rating rather than those dramas with solid stories and great acting
1. No one seems to have an issue with how much the ML’s role is diminished here
2. The FL character is insufferable. Her 180 degree turn is not at all convincing . People seem to be defending her toxicity in the initial episodes . And don’t seem to have a problem with her leading multiple men at the same time. The double standards and hypocrisy is just appalling
4. This story is mediocre at its best . Yes the ML has done a great job - so what? The story was very weak.
5 . I guess the ratings are for all the ‘bathtub’ scenes as usual. I am done

It is unpleasant -yes- but she needs to learn these hard lessons. Just like her brother tells her - that the world is cruel - and she will have many setbacks- there may be people smarter than her and there will be people who are like that girl. The ML, as a bystander, also wanted her to learn that . These are life skills. She was coddled by her intelligence and a lack of competition. That guy who switched could have refused too. It was his choice to change teams and he did. And Lin Zhixia does not even understand what being on a team means. That is why she lost. It was not because of these other things.

I agree. Viewers just want the ‘woman’aka FL to get a free pass regardless of the cost. I like the fact that the ML just does not stay by her side quietly while applauding her. It is only fair that he has his own ambitions. It’s actually better that way

I honestly did not mind that. The ML was not responsible for her team at all. It was a competition. She can be a genius and all but she needs to learn to work with people. If she could not even keep a teammate with her , then that’s on her and it has nothing to do with the ML . It’s not a simple world. She needs to learn how to navigate through manipulative people as well. There will always be people like that classmate who stole him in this world. She won’t get far if she does not learn these things
