I thought the same. But that exactly is the difference between the two relationships . With Zhuang Xu she always walked on eggshells - she always thought whatever she did or said would upset him and suppressed herself. But with the ML she is more like herself and can express her thoughts and feelings freely. The stark contrast is just beautiful. Her relationship with the ML is a lot more healthier

Yes good point. But I think the ML was taken aback by her reaction given that she did not communicate with him at all after his accident .

He did show his ID and they did call to make sure it was OK . Also he was only observing . He was not even in the actual room.

I don’t think it was glazing. They were just looking up to an experienced professional and skilled surgeon given that it was a small hospital that did not do such complex procedures. It’s not like he was puffing his chest or they were massaging his ego.

Oh yes and just ran towards him😂. He had to see that! Well nothing else screams moving on and closure more than that !

I know I found that scene very intense. You could literally feel his pain there . Even if it is not surgery there is something he can do. It is just too sad otherwise

Yep no complaints! And yes I also loved the fact that the SML got to see how much XG cared for LYS! That was very satisfying !

lol I know . No wonder he is shell shocked- he would have loved to see some of this in 2011. As I was saying elsewhere her behavior has been very contradictory. LYS must be so confused .
On another note - I do want LYS to get his medical career back again.

The one good thing that came out of her losing her mind like that is that now he knows how much she actually cares - yep now we get to see progress

This is what I think. When he was sending the text , he hesitated . he wanted to leave her hanging. He was getting to that point where he needed a clear answer. But then he did. That is why he told her that on some level he wanted her to worry but I don’t think he ever expected that strong of a reaction. He was shocked . I don’t think he is confident yet . She spends time with him yes but we have still not scene that preference/partiality yet . In some ways though he did get the answer he wanted. He will be even more confident now . The FL is very cautious after the bad experience
