As women the actresses need to be more convincing when playong such characters . That was non existent in the other 2 dramas . I actually did not finish Shadow Love. Found the drama very strange

I don’t know if it is about being young but rather this screen she has and she looks at everything that way. She did not even try to understand why XJS and her brother are sworn enemies or question why she had to marry him. Or even think about what it would entail to marry into the enemy nation in these circumstances. So she does not even have that kind of common sense

I am really not digging Ning Fei’s character. He is just this loud obnoxious fool .

She has just not seen the outside world and is oblivious to politics and court machinations

But I think something happened after the battle. Remember the events of the battle were also orchestrated. We don’t know what she found out and XJS may be involved . We just have to wait for things to become clearer. And somehow the PM and the empress are involved too I think .

On another note the amount of makeup on both ML and XJS is a bit too much
