I have dropped this because I cannot stand the FL . They did that character wrong

I am not sure if I like the FL’s character. She is a little too full of herself LOL. She is an arrogant, materialistic, superficial . Selfish spoilt brat. Honestly other than her wealth , name and beauty she has nothing going on for her. Not sure why she feels so special . This drama is brainless dead end for me. Ugh she is atrociously pompous! Cannot take it anymore!

Wow that was a beautiful ending! Totally worth it. I just wish they had a couple more episodes post reunion but still very good. They both went through a rebirth of sorts and became better people before coming together ! Nicely done!

It was sad that the FL did not have any dreams for herself . The family basically tied her down. That was sad!

Yep the dad’s family was literally wringing them dry - they were taking money for the daughter, parents expenses in the name of ‘filial duty and return they just ruined the family . I blame the dad though - he was a coward who could not protect his wife and kids

Yes she is definitely mentally unwell. It show in how she portrays herself to be perfect in front of everyone. She has hidden everything that goes on in her home from everyone. That way I like the FL’s honesty. She is like ‘ this is who I am and this is my family whether you like it or not’ . Such a sharp contrast. Yep Mu Mu is disturbingly possessive of Ming Sheng.

Oh bat- this is so raw and real- you can feel eveeything and the performances are awesome! Dad is a total loser so far- a coward but let’s see. she is trying to find her freedom inspite of being a caged bird!

The drama is more about healing and finding themselves. So a majority of it is about that rather than passionate romance.

I kind of had mixed feelings about Mu Mu as a friend especially because she was so close to Ming Sheng. I think she categorically orchestrated the split between Qing Yu and him. She may have had feelings for him and wanted him to be there just for her . She was a nice girl and all but I think there was a little bit of that. She acted like she owned Ming Sheng

This drama is not about that at all.

But if you see- the brother is not affected by any of the turmoil in the family. He seems to be well protected and sheltered in this severely dysfunctional family. It says a lot about the family and the parents. And I can’t stand the brother - the way he tries to guilt trip Qing Yu. The kid is so selfish already! I was so happy when mom lashed out finally on ep 14. She should leave this family with the Qing Yu if she wants to protect her daughter .

And I hate how Ming Sheng became THE culprit in her running AWAY. I still don’t like her mom or dad. They conveniently blame everyone. As though treating the FL like a prisoner will help . I can understand why she put that distance between the ML and her . It was a good thing . They both need to focused on their lives.

The FL really was not in her right mind after she ruined the wedding . She should not have gotten the ML involved in that . I am glad she backed out from running away. No one should give up their future for anything . It is totally not worth it . Teen rebellion is fine and finding justice for her sister is great but giving up her future like that is not. And I don’t think she should have pushed Sean Ming Sheng like that. She could have had a good rational conversation with him- he was not an u reasonable person. She should not have shut the door like that . And yes I blame the stupid parents . They saw many signs and turned their back on it . And that stupid dad’s family.

There was sexism there. .I think the grandparents wanted the parents to focus on raising the boy.
