Watching ep 10. This so called mother is so cruel. It was not necessary to tear up the painting. The FL should nuke the whole deal at this point . Just make every single thing public so she does not have to live like this. I would respect her more if she did that. Right now she is as conniving and manipulative as her mom. Just want this phase to pass. I guess she atleaset threatened it

So I gave this a shot. The first 6 episodes were a struggle because the FL was truly pathetic - she was so stupid and such a doormat that I could not take it. But after that I started enjoying it . It is definitely funny and I like the ML. So I am watching for these. It does have a ‘Love is Sweet’ kind of vibe to it (of course that drama was better and one of my favorites)

But he may give up on painting if FL hurts him really bad because she has been his inspiration so far

Why does everything have to be stupid ? And is everyone a backstage genius. All anyone can do is comment and that too on fictional characters created by someone . To me this drama has been pretty interesting so far . Oh and I dropped Legend of Zhang Hai. It was pretty much a snooze fest for me

No matter what people say on this forum, I am still enjoying this drama. We are still peeling off layers. We have only gotten to the surface and I am looking forward to the rest of the episodes. People should understand that all fiction is a suspension of disbelief to a certain extent . Otherwise they should be watching documentaries.

I would rather not have that plot line . It’s too layman for this show

Yes they have great chemistry, a solid relationship and many wonderful touching moments . And that is romance

Actually it is not that hard for FL to figure out - she investigates Xian on her own and she got some information from the 3rd uncle. She could piece it together from that. She is smart no doubt and she has people working for her . She also analyzes everything. I am more worried about the outcome when she presents it to the emperor and Empress Dowager.
