Yes I mean SB. She and due diligence? From the beginning all we saw was giving orders , being high and mighty, putting down others and taking credit for their work. Such people like power that’s it - they never do the dirty work. I don’t think she ever did field investigative work. Otherwise she would have done her research rather than land there like that. It was obvious that the only reason she came there was to chase the ML. She was scared that he would be taken by the FL .

Agree that Shen Bei is despicable . At this point she is so jealous of the FL that she is doing things without thinking just to spite her. She is basically shooting herself in the foot. And yes I also liked that the FL stood up to her. Let’s see where that train wreck is going to end at. She just knows how to take credit for others’ hard work especially the FL.

Yes. . Opinions can vary . Sometimes the beginning may suck but it may be better later on. I dumped so many dramas last year. I finished one drama successfully in 2025 and am rewatching it!

When did I say that I want a romance? I just don’t like the way this drama is done. And if you don’t like this negative opinion then so be it but this is a free for.Um. you need to remember that.

I did not realize that I had to read the novel to ‘understand’ this drama. Is that how you do everything ? So I am not allowed to have an opinion because I have not read the novel right?

It’s interesting that whenever we try to criticize something in the drama , it is supposed to be our lack of comprehension. Do we just have to lap up whatever they throw at us? Just shut up and put up? And make fake praises on this forum? This is just ridiculous. When did it become that you cannot have an opinion or disagree? If it is good I will say that it is. If it is bad I am not going to sit here and fake it. This drama is too slow paced and this is not romance. And yes I have not read the book but that does not mean I have to agree with everything in the book or the drama. Attacking people for a difference of opinion is just plain ridiculous. And I am seeing this more and more on this forum. Yes this drama is boring but I will still give it a shot and it’s none of your business .

I am rewatching and gosh how much I hate Chang Mei.! So selfish and manipulative and borderline evil! And so different from the young A ‘Wu we saw in the resentment realm.

I agree. Lively interactions between the lead couple is needed. They are both so melancholic, that I can’t take it any more.
