After episode 6 couple of this things:
I don’t like that prince of Xiysn- he does not even know the FL and is yet fixated on her after that one meeting. And then his sister - at first I thought she was ok being funny in a serious show but honestly now I find her completely superfluous and extremely simple to be part of this.

I really loved the fair skin/dark skin conversation between the FL and that other woman- it was funny but then just laid the facts bare about color discrimination in women in Asian countries. And it is true even now! LOL

Finally when the ML was mad about FL choosing to go with a prince - she is like ‘ He is a good man’ and then ‘ you are a good man too’ - that cracked me up! Thoroughly enjoying this one !

People are already labeling it a ‘toxic relationship’ but we don’t know that yet. Currently they have no relationship . They were enemies and now they are slowly becoming comrades. So I don t think we should label anything at this point .

lol for sure ! Well if you think about it - this could very well be a plot in a Bond movie - as messy as ever

The OST is really beautiful! Am thoroughly loving this drama- a solid 9.0 for me so far

Hello, I find that the princess adds a lightness to the tone of the show. So yeah I don’t mind her- she is kind of funny

I am sold - this drama is so good! I think Liu Xue Yi finally got a role worth his acting chops! A really complex character . And Wu Jin Yan never disappoints- real powerhouse actress! I have started liking her since The Double!
But I do not think the he’ was responsible for the massacre from everything I am seeing . But let’s see I may be wrong.

WRT your point #2 - not everyone is born to do business. JX had a huge learning curve. She was more of a researcher / technology person but that’s ok eventually everyone learns through failure. I would not bash her for that

I have dropped this drama. But having read your comment I would be even more puzzled as to why they would want to get back together again since it is a toxic relationship. Does not make sense to me. Still an outsider had no right to talk about a couple’s relationship that way. He seems to want to control the narrative a certain way. To me the ml did not look like an aggressive guy or an abuser but the FL Hey Shirley, a walking red flag.

Yes the ML and FL had flaw but they dealt with it in a mature way . And yes they communicated
