She clearly had a smile on her face as though she was teasing him. So I think it was a joke as well!

I am on ep 16 and I just feel the ML is a little too soft to deal with these psychos. Let’s see what happens. He needs to be way stronger if he needs to protect her.
Ok I have a couple of issues. Are the mother and sister idiots? That older brother can come and go as he pleases to the mother and sister and they never tell the ML? And no one tells the police after he stabs the ML? What exactly is this? So it seems like these ‘monsters’ get a free ride because of their stupid family?

I agree. I found that to be a major flaw. The parents did not even know that the child was coming back and no one was escorting him when he travelled. That was very unrealistic.

I guess you can interpret it either way. Regardless they got together finally. I don’t think you can just get a plane ticket without the visa though
