Yes it was very clear. He wanted this relationship more than her. Since he wanted to be with her for life he basically decided that he would be the one who would compromise and give in to her. Nothing wrong with that as long as both are sincere . There are many relationships
like that . There is always a imbalance- never 50-50

I get why Li Li chose SZZ in the end . It’s because he is a simple man who wholeheartedly loved her and really had no issues. She was tired of playing the game and just wanted to settle down. Don’t blame her for it .

They were both excellent in those episodes 35-37. Xu Kai especially- he actually made me emotional and yes that conversation at the hospital by her was so needed. Communication and understanding is so important !

Yes, I agree with that assessment. I am not against them getting back together or anything like that but sometimes being too proud and too stubborn does not work in a relationship.
