Realizing your mistake and apologizing is not beneath your dignity in this case they showed as though the FL did not care at all it almost felt like she disrespected her partner or rather took him for granted this is not the message that you should be sending through a drama

Yes only HT made an effort to salvage and cherish this relationship. She was pretty ambivalent about it. It did not seem to matter to her whether it was repaired or not.
