Exactly my take on this. The FL does not know how to prioritize their relationship and she has never shown her true feelings to him and has made him insecure. That is why she had no right to be affected when Chloe confessed to him. She makes him feel very confused and insecure.

The FL definitely has a mental trauma because of Yi Fei. She is very fragile and everyone treats her that way.

Well she seems to be doing everything with him - like watching a movi, accompanying him on a camping trip and having much deeper conversations with him. I mean the ML is right - they are on two different orbits and there is a distance between them. The FL is the cause for that - I don’t even know if she actually loves him. On the contrary I see that Chloe admires him more and likes him. The FL seems to be stuck in her teen years and the ML cannot get to close to her no matter what he does .

I am watching 17 - I think they are both equally to blame as to why their relationship is like this. I question whether the FL really cares for him and the ML as well. They are both apathetic in the relationship

ExactlY the Fl is not dating the ML. She is b busy hanging out with Ding Ye and helping everybody else. So she has no right to say anything or be affected by it

I think Yo Fei was her closest friend. So whatever happened to her definitely had an impact on the FL

You are right- I also think YZ has some mental issues because of what happened to Yi Fei and I am only at ep 11

It sure is a mystery. But one thing is clear. In the present only the FL brings her up. None of the other friends do. I think Yi Fei is the reason the FL is the way she is- stuck in the past. Maybe that is why the ML can’t get close to her too
