Definitely I mean which of us can say that we have done everything right in our life every single time . Not one of us. We all make mistakes in our relationships as well. This falls in the normal category . That is why Shu Yi’s character was very real to me

Yes that was a beautiful scene - episode 31 was just beautiful! Yes Shi Yan was difficult to understand because he never said much. His actions did speak though for a little bit but still it was not enough. Lack of communication was definitely the one of the issues in their relationship. Shi Yan’s non communicative character Shu Yi’s contradictory behavior were the biggest hurdles that they had to cross.

That is true - everyone was expecting a docile, well behaved FL

So many people loved this drama on Viki and they actually understood the drama - which was amazing.

lol so true. People ended up comparing 2 very different dramas, characters and genres rather than appreciating each of them for what they are individually

You know I have not started SOKP yet and probably won’t for a little bit. I made a conscious decision not to watch them both so that I don’t compare. She is a great actress and I don’t want to do that to her

Completely agree these 2 dramas are much better than many other cdramas.

This drama has a very Pride and Prejudice feel to it. Yes she reminds you of Bridget Jones and Scarlet O’Hara. I thought those references were very apt too. But Scarlett O’Hara was very crazy and indecisive- she had a lot of negative aspects but I can still see few parallels with Shuyi’s character especially with the way she confuses the ML. This clearly is the best most interesting character that Bai Lu has played.
