I disagree- this is the wrong way for friends and family to let someone deal with grief. This is not a white lie. It goes beyond that . When someone has suppressed tho see memories and refuses to deal with it then that is a psychological issue that cannot be taken lightly. For her mental health friends and family should rather be honest with her and help her deal with it. In no context what they are doing is right. 12 yrs is too long

I watched 23 today and I thought the FL will get affected when Ding Ye talked about his friend’s suicide and remember something about Yi Fei but nothing happened. So I am even more intrigued now.

Yeah there are no subtitles or they are wrong. I am going to wait for more episodes to drop on Viki for amidst…. Such a long title LOL. I want to watch that one with good subtitles so I shall be patient. It’s worth it for Viki subtitles

Yes she is.. what I meant was the there seems to be a piece of her missing because of the trauma and that was brought out well

She is way more mature here than in her other dramas

Yes they are. Her trauma is part of the reason. Actually Yang Zi has acted well - if you observe her character you can see that she is clearly not normal and the reason for that is the trauma. And I feel like the ML is also very reluctant to close that distance .
