What I found true and heartbreaking 💔 was episode 9 when they ran into their co-worker who guessed they were dating and Keishi didn’t just brush off the comment with just one “no. He instead chose to be brutal. He said “of course not, absolutely not. Besides even if I were gay, it wouldn’t be with Tojo-san”. Even their work colleague says how cruel. And what Tojo does after this exchange to reclaim his dignity makes this series for me.

I got lost around episode 7. Now that its done I am going to start from the beginning and watch it all over again, I remember liking the premise early on but it lost me mid way. Here’s hoping I make it through!

Episode 10 and I finally figured out what the hell is going on in this series. I think I am going to have to re-watch it again now that I understand what the point of it is.It’s been a slow burn 🔥 but a good one. ☝️

I can’t go past Episode 5. Where do you go from your love interest is actually your rapist? I have to say though the way that scene rolled out was incredible. The slow motion and everyone’s reaction and most importantly the victim’s perspective. The series really has really been about the second couple who have been delivering great scenes in the bedroom and as they figure out their relationship. But is has to be over the doctor and his engineer.

I think it’s more of a cultural thing. I find Japanese BLs are really restrained where intimacy is concerned. There are exceptions of course….My Personal Weatherman, When it Rains it Pours, Love is Better the Second Time Around, Tokyo in Spring come to mind… Awkward love seems to be the rigueur de jour. It can be frustrating to watch.

It really did set the bar high

There is no other series like Revenged Love. It is groundbreaking for a Chinese BL. Yes, there are things that could have been done better, like the last episodes were wild, so many new plot lines introduced. But overall it was simply magnificent in its scale, scope and the openness of the actors and their commitment to show a couple deeply in love. It looked completely real, passionate and heartbreaking. I loved every minute of it and I am sad it’s over. But I have this feeling, it’s going to be one of these series I am going to watch again and again.

I agree with you. There is so much ego happening in this episode. If you think I did it for this reason…fine! If you think I love that person, fine! Both think they are punishing the other but they are punishing themselves. Truly heartbreaking 💔

He threw water on him because he saw a text to Wu Suowei and he was thrown into a jealous rage. The text said “are you coming today?” the response was “I will head over now!” this added fuel to the fire that Wu Suowei was cheating

All of them together hanging out is a bit odd but it’s mainly the fact that Wang Shuo is a “friend” and his brother just tagged along. I is a bit weird as a dynamic..

I did the same. I needed to walk away. Come back to it. It was gut wrenching.

We all knew Episode 18 was coming, but I wasn’t quite prepared for how brutal it would be. Revenged Love is truly Shakespearian, in particular the play Much Ado About Nothing where two star-crossed lovers are manipulated by others and are making false assumptions about each other leading to catastrophic consequences. It’s the most agonizing of all plot devices for the reader/viewer who is mute and want to yell at them “wake up!!!! you just need to talk to each other!!!! This episode above all others was brilliantly acted. The heartbreak 💔 was palatable and acute. This series by far is the best of 2025 and definitely in my top five of all series.

Can someone please explain to me what was going on in Episode 6 with Hua Yong in the hotel room.? I am so clueless what he was doing with those alphas. I get he is partnered with Shen doing something for X Holdings but I don’t get what it is and I don’t know why it involves whips?!! I also know he is playing Sheng Shao You for a fool, but I am so confused.

Please help me and I appreciate your patience with my clueless questions.

I agree. The money they spent….the time snd effort…and the actors an definitely act. It just was a flawed production which was sad.
