Jet said it “if I didn’t squander the chance Jane gave me, things would have been different .” He says this to his stupid brother “Little Jane” who once again is mad at Big Jane. I hate Little Jane . He’s whiny, impulsive, judgemental and emotional. I get thats the point, but its still annoying to watch and I don’t get why everyone is in love with him. 10 points this episode go to Jet who was a loser most of the series and is finally responsible for his 💩.
This one surprised me. I found the story interesting and the slow unraveling of connection was good. I had to overlook the obvious, AI generated scenes, etc. But I found the acting really good.
Most people don’t like spoilers or to read the last chapter of a book. In the case of the last few episodes of Payback, I waited to watch and read the comments as the series ended. I read mixed reviews about the ending, different thoughts on how the revenge should have been delivered to those who were evil. Most were sad the series was done.
.Overall, this series still is one of my favourites of 2026. It’s dark, but like the main character’s name, it is ultimately about the light. Friendship. Love. Redemption. Payback wasn’t perfect, but I still was riveted by it. Re-watching episodes for a second and sometimes third time. I too am sad its over.
