I agree. It seems un-nessessary. Alex and RJ is the most frustrating part of this series. Absolutely zero plot progression of these characters. So annoying to introduce them and do nothing with them.

In Asia boy is for girl. that’s it. Everything else is considered deviant. Also having spent time there women are invisible. Men rule and they want to keep it that way.

What the hell happened with Episode 11? Here I was thinking Yu Jin had cancer or something. How naive of me. Nope! His father just beats the shit out of him because he’s gay. Foolish me thinking we could get a nice Taiwanese BL l series but lately they have some really dark themes… non consensual sex, parental abuse, etc. There is no way to wrap this one up in one episode. What a freaking waste.

Interesting. I have watched both seasons multiple times and this is a different perspective. Thank you. Having to drink for a great performance isn’t good acting but many actors have done it … Richard Burton, Peter O’Toole etc.

That’s why I have deep admiration for actors who you know are straight as hell but pull off the best damn same sex kisses. I am in agreement you don’t need a Mick Jagger-like situation but one needs to be of the authenticity and sincerity of the action.

I have to dig into the BL vault having only recently acquired an interest in the genre, I expect there are a few series I haven’t watched. I think Taiwan use to be a leader. Agreed. Maybe because I’ve watched the last two episodes late at night but I’ve fallen asleep during both of them. Boring as HELL. The dialogue, the plot…either way, it’s just not doing it even though Boun is beautiful to look at.

You are not wrong. Boun is the more talented actor of this pair and Prem is doing his best, but he is a fish out of water. I agree it would be really nice to see Boun test his talent and work with more senior actors from other genres. On another note. I am not sure why kissing is hard…but I am irritated as hell with most BL kissing. The worst is the “sniff kiss” what the hell is that anyway? Then the tight lipped mashed kiss which is a favourite of Prem. So when you see a series like KinnPorsche you end up screaming 😱 HALLELUJAH

Really? What was wrong with Season 2? Ok a 2 year absence becomes 5 years was difficult. But Zhou’s absolute betrayal and hate was perfect. The couch scene is absolutely heartbreaking I have never seen anything like it in a BL. The desperation was perfection.

Another Between Us episode just wrapped up and I am still on the fence. This series is tedious most of the time. I think they addressed some concerns over the Win character forcing Team into a relationship . Win was pretty patient with Team’s agonizing’I think I like him” too and fro’ing” all episode. I just find the dialogue boring and the plot really go nowhere. i know it’s about Team’s trauma and Win’s commitment issues but it’s just so slow. I know am the outlier here hoping this series will get better because I loved UWMA,

It definitely has a Time Travellers Wife vibe and if it follows the same narrative we are in for a depressing ending. I can’t say I haven’t watched Lunopolis but watching something 11 times means it must have been good. My latin is basic so I am interpreting it as night or moon city. So let me guess it’s about where people meet in alternative timelines in dreams. At any rate, it’s not bad watching so I can’t complain.
